Elections are also manipulated; the corps that own the media networks control how much you see of each candidate; ron paul getting the least airtime. They also fund who they want to win (obama/mccain). Paul gets most of his funds from fans.

@NZtooproud The Republican party base shrunk in 2007, and again in 2009, because of the points that Ron Paul made. We need to realize that even though McCain won the primaries, he lost the election. Ron Paul wasn't running for the nomination, he was running for the election, and his voice was heard, among Progressives, Conservatives, and Independents. That there is a candidate out there that is a human being, not a thing.

I think we forget how amazing it was to see this happening, to see these things being said. That somebody like Congressman Paul even was allowed to get up on that stage and fight the good fight. Damn I miss this guy. Simply put Ron Paul scares career politicians on both sides of the isle. He doesn't take special interest money, he hates taxes & wants to enforce the constitution.
