Thats what happens when you load an engine like that constantly for that long. Something will give. In this case something in the cooling system. He may have overheated it after that happend

@SaturatedLivingTV the cooling system burst because I let off the throttle too fast and the plastic end tanks could not take the back up in pressure from the circulation stopping. It burst about 3-5 seconds after I let off the gas. And the car was fine and racing the next weekend, good as new. that was nice.... but at the same time it sucked. i like a little bit of show with burnouts. something more that 2000rpm would have been nice.. but still a badass burnout!
