Incubation time for eagles is longer than for other birds.

If you find an egg:

1. The "parents won't touch eggs/fledglings that smell like humans" thing is not accurate. Birds don't even have a good sense of smell.

2. Many birds are too weak to carry eggs back up to their nest.

3. Taking the egg home and raising it is likely to be illegal.

4. The parents will try to look for it for roughly four days.

5. A local wildlife center can answer questions and can take the egg if it cannot be returned.

I liked this, but I have read a different version of it before, where the eagle flying above swooped down and scared the chickens. The baby eagle came out to protect them and at that point realized he truly was an eagle and took flight. Still a nice video. Liked the music too! : )
