Can't speak for every Yank you've dealt with, but I will say that when I said "touring Europe" I was referring to a specific trip - Bush's European farewell- which included Slovenia, Germany, Italy, France and Britain. OK fair enough, I was in a bad mood at the time. But the guy is a complete ignoramus. It makes me sad thinking of all the servicemen that continue to die due to his and Tony Blair's illegal oil wars. Fair enough. Can't speak for every Yank you've dealt with, but I will say that when I said "touring Europe" I was referring to a specific trip - Bush's European farewell- which included Slovenia, Germany, Italy, France and Britain. As an American I of course don't have command of every nuance of Euro/Brit culture, and the situation came at me sorta fast. So perhaps I was impetuous when I selected the word "Europe" to describe the area within which the President was traveling. Open to suggestion.
