i got a question.... do you have to adjust the neck if you go from standart 0.09 to the skinny top heavy bottom ?

  • oh ok thank you very much XD

  • heh yeah just i need to find it >.< but everywhere i look its been discontunued :(

  • @TheInvalidChronicles I'm looking around and I can't find it either. I'll tell you if I find it though!

  • sweeeet thx mate! gibson guitar correct? i m getting an ibanez guitar soon ^_^

  • @TheInvalidChronicles No problem! No, mine's an Epiphone. That's awesome! Ibanez guitars are cool!

  • no dimarzio? lol jk those cost a lot! nice playing man what would ur review be on ernie ball's? i just picked some up today this is my first string to and i m getting my amp back on friday so yeah

  • @TheInvalidChronicles Ernie Ball strings are awesome! There's really not much else you can say :P They've got all different kinds for different genres and they last a long time!

  • same strings as tom delonge, are they better then standard epiphone sg strings?

  • @flamedudeNL Oh yeah! They give you a lot more diversity tone-wise. You've have brighter-sounding high ends and deeper-sounding lows. They sound awesome for chugging or shredding!

  • @flamedudeNL They aren't too stellar on the bending though, unless you detune, which these strings are perfect for! Brendon Small uses them. Just listen to him and you can see what these strings can do!

Ah thank you so much for replying so fast, but i have one more question. I like to play some cool punkriffs very much like green day blink 182 and sum 41. Are these strings good for that? And can i still buy my standard epiphone sg strings?

  • @PunkRockCovers No prob :) These strings wouldn't be good for punk rock. You would want more of a twangy tone. For Green Day and that sort of stuff, just stick with your standard strings, but for any sort of metal, these strings are the way to go! If you bend a lot, you could go with some Slinkys!

  • @sprtn117c

Why does tom delonge have them then? He plays punk too :S

  • you have to stretch the strings while you string your guitar. THose strings are bad ass i have them

  • Do you use the amps distortion? Sounds good :)

  • Yep. Thanks :)

  • Damn dude those sound great

  • thanks! you should look into them, they really are great

  • I got the Ernie Ball strings put on my guitar and I'm pickin it up on Monday so I'm gonna be jammin' out then. I like Seymour Duncan pickups but people tell me to get EMG's

  • I think there's a video on here that compares them. You should look it up. I think seymours sound better, but that's just opinion.

  • wow dude guitar looks awesome!!! I have the same one but since you did the mods they look different. yours looks much better then mine though

  • these strings r really hard 2 tune

  • i've noticed

  • which seymour duncans did you use?

    bridge=?? neck=??

    = ))

  • both :D

  • gosh i freakin love seymour duncan pickups.

i'm probably goin to have some installed on my prs when i get it.

    nice playing too.

even though it was on distortion, it wasn't messy, like not bad feedback.

probably cause the new pickups ;)

    thanks for the review

  • thanks for the comment! :)

  • did you get the pickups swapped at guitar center(did they install them for you)
