Hi Ken, I'm thinking of buying a Ohana BK-35 bari and wondered how the intonation and action was with yours straight from the box (I know you don't play the bari too much though).

@wehappyfewmusic I don't like baritones very much. Our ukes are all checked and adjusted (if necessary) before they are shipped to stores. Intonation problems rarely occur. If they are out at the octave, it is nearly always the strings that have stretched unevenly.

Although I don't like baritones, Stew, I think we make the best. A roundback uke wouldn't be my first choice though. However, the dealer concerned is very good.

I can see why you are not into the bari. They sound like a guitar don't they? I tired Aquila's GCEA bari strings and I like it much better but I still ended selling the bari. No regrets.

I wanted to play it using certain chords an the baritone enabled me to sing it better. A tenor uke made it too low for my voice. But I don't like baritones.

This is take 1 of the first song I have ever played on a baritone. I have tested a few and tuned some, of course, but this is the first I have ever played. Can't say I like them very much so far as an instrument. If I was going to buy one, it would be this 35 though.
