  • This is my first time makeing a hat... Well crocheting at all. And im lost on row two. I cnant get it to wrk ugh. I done this like 3 times already :'(

  • @misscne29 Row 2 you are doing 2 double crochet in each stitch :)

  • Hey Jess I figured out why my 2 slouchy Beanie's did not come out right it's because, I was using a G hook as you said but it was by a different company, did not realize that just because it says G that it is the same size ugh . Thank God these are project that do not take hours to make. So I want to know if that is a Boyle hook that you are using?

  • @TOOCHOCLATE50 G/6-4.25mm and yes it is :)

  • Happy Holidays to you and your family. Will you be making more tutorials in the near future?

  • Ok I tried making this hat twice and for some reason I can not make this the way yours came out. So the first time it came out to be a tam and this second time it is like a big top that you put dreads in Please HELP what am I doing wrong.

  • @TOOCHOCLATE50 This Slouchy is not a regular Slouchy it's a Extra slouchy... If you use a G Hook it will come out looking like my hat it the video and photo on my website...if you want it to be less slouchy then when you get to round 9-25 instead just do fewer rows :) then sc all the way around and fasten off...

  • why do uyou rwen u single crochet wrap the yarn out side the stitch as opposed to inside? does it matter cuz i learned togo in wrap come out wrap again and then continue

  • @223995jasmin Which ever is best for you :)

  • and i need help on the magic circle

  • @backwardschild you can chain 5 join instead of doing the magic circle or you can come back to this video and search on yt on how to make a magic circle. Thanks for watching :)

  • can you plase explain this tho me i really want to make a hat and i got yours till round 6 i belive and your really good so plase help! i dont really count do you have to for everything and what if you count wrong or mess up counting

  • @backwardschild I rarely don't count I only count because alot of people count...as long as your hat fits you should be fine.

  • @DaKingJoshua22x sorry I got your message late... let me know how it turn out :)

  • If I don't do a magic circle what instructions do I follow?

  • @chinewmarie chain 4; join with slip stitch to make a ring. Chain 3; double crochet 10 in ring.

  • @khearell Yes :)

  • Thanks for posting this :)

  • Can I use 1.75mm crochet hook instead ?

  • @Lalalalalaloveeful a steel hook is not for this crochet hat project :)

  • Hello I love your video and im wanting to make the beanie myself but I was wondering is there a way to make it less slouchy? Is there a step I can cut out or not?

    Thanks for the post!!

  • @nenabonita34 thank you :) after row 8 you can make the hat less slouchy by cutting out a few rounds until it's as slouchy you want it to be :)

  • @simplycrochet2021 Thanks for answering!! I ended up doing that and it worked!!! I LOVE my hat!! Thanks sooooo much for the video!! I hope you do more your a great teacher!

  • @nenabonita34 :) Thank you :)

  • @simplycrochet2021 Actually I have another questions......My brother wants me to make him a hat to but he tried mine on and its too small. How do I make it wider?

  • @nenabonita34 use a larger hook :) Like a H or a I hook :)

  • @simplycrochet2021 Is that the only way? I like the look of the size hooked I used......Is there anything I can double?? lol if that makes sense

  • so i know absolutely nothing about crocheting lol I havent done it since I was a kid. I was just wondering exactly what kind of yarn you used and how much, as well as does it matter what kind of needle you use (is that what it's called)? thank you im really excited to start this!
