  • Great revenge film.

Rob Lowe would have been a better Peter Stegman. Roddy Mcdowell was awesome in this, especiall the scene where Roddy holds his class hostage at gunpoint, forcing them to learn.

  • Mark L. Lester

  • Timothy Van Patten's acting skills are debatable, no question... But nonetheless, Peter Stegman is one of the greatest villains in the history of the "blackboard jungle" genre, IMO. Leather Pants Guy is pretty badass in this film, too, lol

  • @thebrb30000 In this we are in full agreement.

  • from witch movie is that scene in 0:18/ 0:20??

  • @apocratos Russ Meyer's VIXEN

  • Wasn't Class of 1999 sort of a sequel to this.

  • @BrainCandy11 I believe so

  • @BrainCandy11 yes

  • @BrainCandy11 But it never packed as much of a punch

  • perry king of riptide

  • That Roddy McDowell scene was fucking hilarious.

  • One movie that's even better than this is Savage Streets, I believe it came out a couple years after this movie.

  • @Deathtrap8503 - Yes, Linda Blair's boobs trump Timothy Van Patten's acting any day.

  • Hey nice review bro, but what song is the beinging called ?

  • @Metaldisciple666999 - Thanx! It is my remix of "Witchfinder General" by the band of the same name.

  • @FreddiePipes Sounds prettty badass. Like the Faster pussycat soundclip. The Buzzoven used it in the song, to a frown.

  • Ah the good one Timothy Van Patton performance. Sort of.

    Mu ha ha ha!

No real reason is indeed the best reason for nudity.

    Sweet review!

  • @moronicmark - Thanx, Mark.

I think Van Patten was meant to play an asshole. He chose too many good guy roles. If he'd played more characters like Stegman, he'd...well he probably wouldn't have went much farther than he did, but he might have had a few more memorable performances...okay maybe not. At least he has this film.

  • @FreddiePipes And he did direct some decent Sopranos episodes somehow.

  • @dawolf81 - Thanx, Wolfie!

  • "Pain is everything" I love this film! My fav part of the commentary is @ 7:46 LOL

    GREAT REVIEW!

  • @tommywho6 - Oh Abby, only you could appreciate my sarcastic sense of humor. ;)

  • Ha! I've got this on VHS and I used to watch it all the time! It was one of my favorite movies! Roddy McDowell was awesome! At least he got them to answer the questions when he had the gun on them!

  • @4thtroika - Same here, it was one of the first videos I ever rented as a kid.

  • @BladeAndStick - They'd make for a pretty cool double feature.

  • I sadly haven't seen this movie before but it look fantastic. And I have to see Roddy McDowell pull a gun on those punks!

By the way Rev., cudos for throwing "Class of Nuke'em High" into your opening credits. You have the best intros on Youtube! And another favorite movie of mine with 80's punks in it, 1984's "Suburbia", is getting re-released on dvd next month. I'm sure you've seen it...

  • @johnnyhorror92182 - Oh man, I love Suburbia--great movie. I plan on reviewing Class of Nuke 'em High sometime soon.
