  • one man playing with all of them... Y?

  • how does the horse shaped one move?

  • @freestylexgp like an L ... for example. Two steps to the right. The third step can be either upwards or downwards.

So, it moves 2 steps in a straight line. The Third step should be perpendicular to it.

  • the result was one loss, 2 or 3 draws and he won the rest ( i think he played 19 people total if i remember hearing correctly!). i am the guy playing the caro-kahn at 0:54. i got a draw although i felt better from about this point til the end of the game! the guy to the right of me beat korchnoi pretty quickly with a center counter opening, 1. e4 d5. korchnoi dropped a pawn, then another, then resigned.

  • @patrickJMT however, i think during the first simul ( he gave two) he played 25 people and beat them all!

  • @patrickJMT guys silence PATRICKJMT commented, on this video.

That is the only reason i came here.

so cool, i like chess too :P

  • @GoodyearBandit ahhahaah : )

  • @patrickJMT how long did it take for him to finish all the games?

  • @rykerh228 i have a video on my other channel, mrchessclassics; i think they guy says it was about 3.5 or 4 hours total which was quick

  • Seeing old Viktor at the board makes me happy. It's legends like him who prove that chess can be a lifelong love, and that you're never too old for it unless you choose to be. Korchnoi forever!

  • Anyone knows what Viktor's simul score was?? The official site doesn't mention anything

  • Is he immortal? But apparently, he doesn't seem to hear very well in interviews. Age definitely shows its toll.

  • Dear old Uncle Viktor!

  • gotta love Viktor .

  • impressive! I've never dreamed that the old 'korchnoi kick' could be used during simul. what a champ.

  • What a great guy, a living leyend !!!

  • There's a man at 0:08 who looks remarkably like Kasparov from behind.

  • what was the result? lol he probably torched everyone...

  • He's a year younger than Clint Eastwood.

  • ...the Yoda of the Chess World :)

  • poor old man he had to stand so long n walk around. if he enjoys it, then good for him :p

  • did he win?

  • dostoyevsky

  • He's only 80, and still over 2500 Fide.

Do ppl think elderley people are stupid?

Dirac, Hoffman, Einstein, Linus Pauling and countless others were all brilliant and doing productive work until they died old.

  • @ll1lI some study I saw showed the bright lose less mental facilities as they grow older and the dull become markedly more stupid , so not much hope for me, mind you I quite like the idea of becoming stupidly unaware of everything as I get older :)

  • his very old..but still kicks ass!

  • Wow... how old is he now? Couldn't imagine him still playing.

  • @xactxx Viktor is about a month younger than my father. He is 80. He will be 81 next March.
