the result was one loss, 2 or 3 draws and he won the rest ( i think he played 19 people total if i remember hearing correctly!). i am the guy playing the caro-kahn at 0:54. i got a draw although i felt better from about this point til the end of the game! the guy to the right of me beat korchnoi pretty quickly with a center counter opening, 1. e4 d5. korchnoi dropped a pawn, then another, then resigned.
Seeing old Viktor at the board makes me happy. It's legends like him who prove that chess can be a lifelong love, and that you're never too old for it unless you choose to be. Korchnoi forever!
@ll1lI some study I saw showed the bright lose less mental facilities as they grow older and the dull become markedly more stupid , so not much hope for me, mind you I quite like the idea of becoming stupidly unaware of everything as I get older :)

how does the horse shaped one move?
freestylexgp 2 months ago
@freestylexgp like an L ... for example. Two steps to the right. The third step can be either upwards or downwards.
So, it moves 2 steps in a straight line. The Third step should be perpendicular to it.

Is he immortal? But apparently, he doesn't seem to hear very well in interviews. Age definitely shows its toll.

Do ppl think elderley people are stupid?
Dirac, Hoffman, Einstein, Linus Pauling and countless others were all brilliant and doing productive work until they died old.
