i think milk gives it a much better and richer taste. i also put about 1/3 of a cup of egg whites in mine to add extra protein and it makes it a little thicker. Mixing hot water with this and shaking it will build up pressure in the bottle and it will probably burst the cap open. this has happened to me multiple times just with hot water when ive been trying to clean my shaker
for some reason it mixes with hot water... lol'd hard.
