by taking clothes from the dryer and bringing them to the bedroom, "go to mat" and sit, stay, speak, touch any object, touch certain people, retrieve specific objects, pick up items dropped, play "101 things to do with a box"-similar to your behavior of letting them chose something to do and each time it is different, we are working on carting, he knows "pout" where he puts his head between his paws, retrieves kleenex when you sneeze, and much more! They are the best dogs!!! I <3 my boy!!
I will try to get my berner recorded. He knows lots of things! So smart! You guys have done a great job teaching Taitee! My boy can sit, shake, down, roll over, play dead, play dead hollywood (with all 4 feet in the air), he can stick em up (throws paws in the air, while standing on back legs still), he knows how to turn lights on and off, close/open cabinets and doors, fetch me a beer from the fridge, clean up (same as your tidy up), He can also throw things in the trash, help with the laundry
hehehe she's very good... we do tidy up, the touching games, etc and variations of the other tricks with our wheaten terrier.. but he gets frustrated easily and will sort of "short circuit" after a while.... i love how gentle and patient she is... Finley our wheaten gets "thrashy" and over excited about his tricks and will THROW himself into position... especially when we ask him to get in against our legs.... she is so lovely and slow and precise.. something to aspire to for us!
Berners are the BEST dogs in the world. They are so smart and beautiful, and your is a great example. My childhood dog was a Berner, she was so amazing <3
Such a beautiful animal. My bernese isn't as smart. He's huge, and a bit clumsy, but he does like yours, try to sit as close to us as possible. He also loves to come between our legs and stay there. He's the most gentle dog I've ever met, though. He's my sweetheart. I <3 you Chico
Berners are so smart and eager to please. We tought our 8 week old how to sit, stay, lay down, head down, sit up, shake, role over in about a week. He is now 7, I haven't asked him to roll over in several years due to arthritis. I had some pretty yummy treats the other day and he ran through the whole series of tricks without me asking including rolling over. It was hysterical. He earned every bit of those treats. Your dog is beautiful and the smartest dog I have ever seen.
Nice training. Our Berner is close, but this one has more training and does a much better job! Congrads on the nice job and having a very happy pupil!

Wow, that's a smart dog! ...and obviously he has very dedicated owners. How long did it take you to train the dog to this level?

This is a very smart Bernese.
My female is not as smart, but she does learn anything
for a treat.. She is naturally lazy is you let them be..
I shall try and teach her some of these tricks..
Lovely video
Thanx

My Bernice will some pretty nifty tricks, too. But she's dumber than a box of hammers. It's just that a Berner will do ANYTHING for food.
