this whole incident...actually made me stop collecting. seriously....what pisses me off the most about this...is they're doing all this..cancelling and making shitty remolds of great figures...the rid onces are probably still gonna be hard as hell to find...and while they're doing this, they're still focusing on the movie line as their main tansformers toy line...and everybody...everybody is so rediculously sick of those crappy movie toys...and those are the ones they decide to keep in stores...
this simply leaves me wonder if First edition will ever make it on my country (guatemala) or if it will share the same fate as Generations and Reveal the SHield (aka, never getting released)
*sigh* i hope it doesnt happens i want those toys so badly, i wish someone could send me money into my paypal acc so i could have money for buy online (as i learned guatemala people cant add their money there)
Now that the First Edition figures have been cancelled the prices of them will no doubt sky-rocket. For a completest like myself its going to be very expensive to get a hold of them. I really need Bulkhead and the FE Prime figure because the RID one sucks. I may be getting a Cliff from Mitchsantona but the Vehicon will most likely be the hardest to grab. Hasblow has made a big mistake in cancelling the FE figures imo.
Hasbro only have their clueless selves to blame, regardless of what lines you're missed out on, cos of their sheer stupidity and ignorance. Not to mention their short-sighted-ness.
I can see that the RID versions of Bumblebee and Cliffjumper look worse than the FE releases.
Of course, just because they release multiple versions of characters, doesn't mean you have to buy every single one of them! : )
Granted fans often find it hard to resist, but I managed to pass on a fair number of Revenge Of The Fallen figures: Chromia, Arcee, Smokescreen, the recolours of Movie 1 Legends, EVERY version of Bumblebee (save for the Human Alliance and first ROTF Legend mold) e.t.c.
i agree i was so happy for the first edition so i bought the SDCC Prime First edition at comic con now before i can find them at my toysrus they are done making them
