  • ubuntu one never worked for me.... nor dropbox. ubuntuone gives 'credentials can't be retrieved' error. Pls help if anyone can do.

  • ive wanted to try umbantu but have been afraid to screw up my computer...those who use umbantu....is it really usable with the internet with out difficulties? thanks for the encouragement.

  • @centervilletn I don't know about "umbantu" but I use ubuntu without any problems.

  • @centervilletn Why do people actually believe that it could possibly be that bad? ;lkajdf;ka

  • how he recorded that ???

  • thank-you Josuha I too am a Ubuntu One, Linux I prefer too

  • really killer feature.... however i'm afraid to say my experience of using ubuntu one has not been as seamless. i'm afraid it will have to be dropbox until all the bugs are ironed out.

  • I have Linux Mint 9. How can I make Ubuntu One work on it? I have an account on Ubuntu One, I installed ubuntu one on mint... now what?...

  • how to make sonund in the clik?

  • @5220640 sound* (sorry for my english)

  • Great!!

  • How about releasing a video on how to make ubuntuone contact sync work?

Should be a very easy to do, just set up a loop saying "ready next week" and then leave it running for 4 months

  • @myubuntuone This is great! 2 gig of storage to be shared with everybody is something I wont turn my nose up at. What I'd like to know is, do we get a little webpage somewhere too? You know, like you do with google pages. I'd kind of like to have a little place for my HTML, CSS &adobe Flash site. Nothing fancy. Don't need mySQL or even PHP (wouldnt complain if it came with PHP mind you). Can we do that with ubuntu one? I dont fancy picking apart a myspace or facebook layout to get a clean slate.

  • .. i also do the same effects..with..openshot...

  • did you do the video editing on a mac...

  • @killerdebug

No, that is Chromium (google makes chrome) it is the open-source base for google efforts...so yea, its really open and all...ok, im done

  • @killerdebug The swindle is in the tracking. Google servers know everything you do online, even on websites not obviously related to Google. For the vast majority of people this tracking is harmless and has absolutely no effect on anything you do. Not to mention a quick NoScript addon can disable it and AdBlock+ can hide the ads the tracker is directing you.

  • Nice video! What software did you use to capture this and composite your webcam input? It's really cool!

  • Nice features. Very Funny.

  • Hey, how did you get chrome to use the new ubuntu theme. I went under options and selected use gtk theme but it just uses the light tan color from the theme its not dark?

  • @fadetoblackone Google the following: "castro chromium themes" and you'll see Jorge has the links to the two themes you'll need to make Chromium look awesome. You are welcome in advance :)

  • @fadetoblackone Under Chrome's Options>Personal Stuff tab>Appearance select "Use system title bar and borders"

  • So simple & intuitive!

  • I have been running Lucid since Alpha 2. Ubuntu and Ubunto One are really turning out great. RC out today! Whats really impressive though is this video, please tell us how you did.

  • This is a very cool usage for Ubuntu One, you kick ass

  • AMAZING! Nice job on the vid too. I notice pretty much everything in U1 is working fine in Lucid now.... Man, I am REALLY enjoying Lucid and with U1? Sky is the limit! SKY IS THE LIMIT! Thanks!

  • I like the feature, although I'd never use it :D

Good vid, how did you do the webcam thing on the side? And what did you use to capture it that way?

  • That's very nice, i didn't know that i could use ubuntu one to publish images on social networks. I think that i'll start using gwibber more from now.

  • What application did you use for producing this video? I.e. the part that does zooming on the desktop and flies your face all over it.

  • @avarab I used a Mac app called Screenflow with Ubuntu in a virtual machine. If you have a smelly old OS X machine laying around you can try it out for free, just Google the name.

  • @stickwithjosh I don't have OS X but I'd have been delighted if there was a program to do this for Ubuntu. Apparently not, thanks for the info though.
