@gonadcancervictim They don't eat their babies unless they sense danger. If they feel that their babies are under threat, they will destroy their litters. Or when the mother felt that they may not have enough food, they will get rid of some babies.

Even though this is just water, you can give hamsters alcohol, especially wine, in the wild hamsters would bury grapes for hibernation, when they went to go and eat it, it would be wine. They never get drunk :)

Sorry, I'm trying to figure out why everyone thinks it's cute to give alcohol to hamsters. Their livers aren't set up to handle alcohol like ours. It can be so toxic. I feel sorry for the hamsters.

Don't worry. It is juz water. Since I am using the "Sake" cup for their water, I describe them drinking having a drinking session.
