What's the result of the bench ? 45FPS average ?

Did you manage to get the SLI to Scale well ? The latest Nvidia drivers disable SLI so you have to tweak the profiles to enable it.

Hey - vital question here if anyone can answer - im looking to get a GTX 590. I have three identical Hanns-G 28inch 1920x1200 monitors - the GTX 590 has three DVI ports and 1x Minidp - do you have to use this minidp, or can you plug all three screens using the DVIs for Nvidia 2D surround?

yeah Dirt 3 will be the best Racing game IMO, Dirt 2 is really good, even better if yo play it with the Logitech G25 Wheel.

When you get the other card will both GPU run in 16x & if so can you double the FPS on games or only 35% to 40% more... Like if one GPU gets 120FPS with to will it be 240FPS or just 140FPS to 180FPS...

@Martinx88813 depends on the engine and drivers.

Its possible to get near 200% even higher.

I have benches of for example Stone Giant. Using two 6970 it runs MOST of the time @ 200% and even higher up to around 212%. Only like 5% of the time below 200% which is simply impressive. GPUs are at 99%~100% load.

I'll pass Shift2 and wait for DiRT3.

Btw I can max out DiRT2 5292x1050 @ 8xAA which only hits the performance by a few fps. Playing it at 70-80s fps.

I think even in triple SLI the benefit of the extra gpus is very small. But he can prove these statements wrong. (although I don't really care much about it anyway ^^ Dual GPU is enough for anything)

I have two GTX 570 in SLI running 6024x1080 max settings and NO AA and the frame rate is similiar to yours if not a little faster. I find AA just makes it crawl, turn it off and its much smoother, i avrg 60+ fps in the bonnet view but some tracks and night time racing with headlights and stuff, it can crawl down to 40fps.

I think with better drivers and maybie a patch we should see this thing running much smoother, however both cards are running at 99% on Afterburner

@anotherone10 I do not know how old you are but any one in to cars racing and so on knows what song this is.The song is taken from a move called Days Of Thunder and no car move to date is better. The only move to capure the spirit of racing is this one,sure you have gone in 60sec and deathrace and some other crapy shit but non of them are even close to be as good. If you have not seen it go download or rent it now. Also the music is composed by Hans Zimmer so cheesy......mmmmm i think not
