    Mayor Ben Was The Principal

Bill Der Beaver Was The Wood Shop Teach

    Lookout Was Our Gym Coach

    Wazzat Was The Music Teacher

Van Go Was The Art Teacher

Bravo Was Our Acting Class Teacher

And Talkatoo Was Our Poetry Class Teacher

  • Gary Schwartz as Bravo Fox?

    He's in Team Fortress 2! :O

  • I used to LOVE this show.

Now I think the creepy-ass creatures live in sewers, in my closet, and under my bed.

  • wow can i say throw back!

i remember this show when i was really young....this was late 80's early 90's

    man i'm old lolz

  • "Everyone UP, everyone IN, time for the fun to begin!" The sexual innuendos are as obvious as some of those old 80's commercials! (i.e. Juicy Fruit: "Take a sniff, pull it out... the taste is gonna move ya when you pop it in your mouth!" Or maybe I need therapy...

  • Holy crap @ 1:14 Mayor Ben appeared out of thin air...how did they know magic back then???

  • Yes as mj sidekick

  • Bubbles the Chimp... as in Michael Jackson's sidekick Bubbles???

  • I remember this... used to watch it when I was about 5. That was 25 years ago. *sigh*

  • I miss this show

  • I am THE ONLY PERSON I KNOW that knows this show!!!

  • Wow I used to watch this religiously EVERY morning! Awesome post!

  • this is the first favorite on my channel

  • green screen adventures is like this show

  • why do we still brainflash these things? It's like being on acid

  • Wish this was on dvd

  • Oh, how I miss this show :/

  • this is more upsetting to me now than it was when i was a child.

  • I was never allowed to watch this show because my dad got annoyed by all the characters. :(

I couldn't watch Full House either because he hated Uncle Joey.

Thanks a lot DAD. You've robbed a little piece of my childhood (though I can totally understand the whole Full House thing).

  • sigmund freud would say "ah ha, thats the reason you have had jacked-up nightmares your whole life" and I say agreed!

  • The melody in this song is sweet- like an aroma of a meal a memory of a better time in a different place when momma and poppa where young...this matter shall I keep in my heart to ponder.

    i still remember EVERY word

  • Loved this show when i was a child :-)

  • omg i remember seeing this when i was like three. ive been wondering what the show was called for ages. i remember thinking the bird lady or witch or whatever was kind of creepy. awesome, glad i found it, i like having blasts from the past.

  • fucking furries, seriously

  • And to think, The guy in the fox suit went on to do the voice of Heavy and Demo in TF2.

  • This show completely kicked ass! It was one of my absolute favorites, this puts the crap that's out there now to shame. If they can revive this and Reading Rainbow I may reconsider my position on having children.

  • @tallchick80 Those shows, Pin Wheel, and Old-school Sesame Street, my friend. We can ALWAYS just watch reruns of Mr. Wizard and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood! You know what it was to wake up as a kid, sick, and not be able to go to school, but still stay home, watch those rare morning toons, segue into this, and THEN be amused/ informed all day by Nick.Jr [REAL Nick.Jr---David the Gnome, Eureka's Castle, Grimms Fairy Tales, Elephant Show]?

Seriously, I'd GIVE my future kids a childhood like that!

  • This scares me just a lot!!!

  • And (Dm7/G) you will shout Bravo once the (C) show has (F) begun (G)

    Everyone (C) spread the news

    (F) When you're in (G) Zoobilee...

    (F) I'm Bill der (C/E) Beaver, I (D7/F#) invent things on (G) command

There's (Fm) daring and (Cm) adventure

when (Fm) Lookout comes to (Cm) call

And a (F) kangaroo named (C) Whazzat who puts (D7) music to it all (G)

My (C) name is Van Go, just (Dm7) color me fun

  • (C) Zoobilee Zoo

    (Dm7) Zoobilee Zoo

(Dm7/G) Magic and wonder are (C) waiting for you (F) it's (G) as

  • OMFG!!! WHAT THE HELL!!! Epic FLASHBACKS!!!

Now I gotta go find "Spartacus and the sun beneath the sea"

    DAMN YOU YOUTUBE!!!

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

  • AWESOOOOOOME!!!!!!!

  • I love(d) it!!! Total candy raver :-)

  • Is the lion gay?

  • I always had a crush on the kangaroo chick Louise Vallance ! LOL.. funny having a crush like that when your about 5 years old LOL

  • Oh my god, I thought I imagined this show as a kid, I am so glad I wasn't the only one who had heard of this show. Whazzat was always my favorite character. :D

  • @sillygrl23 I thought the same thing. Lol! Guess it actually is a show.

  • Karen heartman, like phil heartman's wife that killed him?

  • I used to love this show. It was the BEST when I was three years old! Now it just looks lame. Funny how your perspective changes as you age...

  • Could Zoobilee Zoo be the reason why furries exist? o.o

  • It brings me back .....

  • i remember me an my cuzin after school every day wud go home an watch this awesome memories lol

  • I love dis show wen I was little n I still do now lls smdh

  • Even as a small child, I always wanted to have sex with that Cockatoo

  • @astrowerewolf That's the fox's job.

  • I loved this as a kid but its kinda creepy now hahaha. Nah I miss the eighties!

  • BEN VEREEN IS A PIMP!!!

  • As much as I didn't like this show, I have to admit the cast really nailed their characters personalities.

  • OMG I loved this show when i was kid!

  • @enriquello... Yeah I know that but USHER regards Ben barren as his father. The man that helped create you and the man that loves u CAN be different

  • I used to love watching this show! I wanted to live there and drive the bear's car! He was the best.

  • too bad you can't get it on Netflix or Hulu!!!!

  • OMG I love dis show I have been looking for a while

  • I understand it as an adult. I was a little afraid of Bill Der Beaver and reserved about Coccatu. I liked Lookout the least and wanted to see the Mayor more in action.

    Reflects my personality I guess.

  • Biily the Beaver was my favorite.

  • an absolute favorite show of mine growing up. this show had something so different at the time, i remember getting up just before it would come on with my siblings, bouncing on the bed when it came on having pillow fights, so much fun. thanks so much for putting this up!

  • What Beast looked like in X-Men: First Class.

  • I'd bang the kangaroo chick...

  • I LOVED this show as a kid... I even had a Zoobilee Zoo birthday party once

  • I am 22 years old and I have to say that this 1 minute 31 second clip has more oomph, feeling, emotion, drive, talent, and charisma than all of Rihanna's, Justin Bieber's, and Nicki Minaj's songs combined. Sorry.

  • I miss this show and I am almost 22

  • What ever happened to this show? I LOVED this show!!!

  • OMG I REMEMBER THIS SHOW!! :O

  • Ah, the talent of the musical 80s.

  • at 45 seconds was that a block of cheese i just saw

  • what type of individual would succumb to this line of work? now, as an adult, i can't imagine dressing up and acting like that for children. they don't make shows like this cause they can't find whack ass enough adults to play the roles

  • Wow, as a child, I don't remember it being this creepy.

  • I fucking loooooved this show!!!

  • I LOVED this show when I was a kid. It explains why as an adult and mother, I love yo gabba gabba too.

  • I thought of this show quite a bit. A couple of the Zoobles I'm planning to have in a couple of my series.

Also, it always struck me as weird how Whazzat Kangaroo went on to play Miss Clavel on Madeline.

  • I think this show gave me nightmares at first, and thoroughly creeped me out

  • awww man, good times, I remember when I first saw this on tv back in late 94

  • Holy Retro Batman! I fucking LOVED Zoobilee Zoo!

  • @BrainBustah00 i grew up with this show....so many frikin memories

  • When I was a kid, this show was new and awesome. But even then I knew this show was rainbowtastic.

  • I used to watch this show!

  • I can't believe I remember this show. Damn I feel old ;-)

  • I LOVED ZOOBILEE ZOO

  • Oh Shit!!!!!

    Bubbles the chimp?! WTF?

  • OMG i forgot all about this show...i think this is my im a 25yr old into furrys...ty childhood.

  • This just shows how we were so innocent when we were kids. We watched this and thought it was real. You cant look at this through 2011 eyes because times are totally different now than they were then. Plus TV has changed so much since then its just not fair to compare the two.

  • @ 1:07 what does the cockatoo say? No matter how many times I listen to it it sounds like "Just the arkatoo" but that's obviously not correct.

  • @FKatzenjammer She calls out her name, "Just say Talkatoo".

  • @CarrageBoy Thanks. I still don't hear it that way, but it does make sense.

  • I LOVED THIS SHOW OMG!!! Ugh tv sucks now.. >.>

  • Anyone else thought Louise Vallance was hot? Imbd says shes "Stevie Vallance". Not that I'm going to lose sleep over it, but did she change her name or whats up?

  • where can i get this on DVD or VHS, i tried e-bay, amazon and i can not find it anywhere.......

  • @chacha1013 Same here!

  • I use to love this show!

  • Omg i have been trying to think of think of the name of this show for the past like freaking 10 years! Just now did a search and something came up!!! Loved this show it was my fav!!

  • Holy shit ! Bubbles the chimp was the special guest star . . . Michael Jackson's chimp! Shoulda known he'd be somehow associated with this show.

  • I can't believe I finally found this. I used to love this show when I was a kid. Ah, good times.

  • Good this brings back memories... Usher's dad is the mayor in this show. Indeed my favortie as a kid.

  • @GavinciCode20 Usher's father was a minister and not a celebrity and surely did not play in this show

  • Oh I loved this show....

  • the 80's was when shows were so original and would take chances on a show like this.

  • @pattyk77 I agree to that in the 80's and 90's shows especially nostalgia shows like this one were unique, fun, inventive, original and definetly tried to take chances. Now its all this PC nonsence with shows like Hannah Montana because parents, "experts" are afraid kids might get scared or ofended by shows like this.

  • @pattyk77 Ben Vareen of course!!!

  • I'm 22 and I am still a zoobaroo, i'm thinking of calling west coast customs and having them make me a zoobaroo subaru

  • @C0LL1N I still am too! Let's get the show on DVD.

  • My sis and I would watch the shit out this show. lol

  • I love Lookout and Whazzat. Anybody with me?

  • I used to put this show on in the morning after my alarm clock woke me

up for school. It was so loud and annoying that I couldn't go back to sleep, after I was up I'd switch over to Inspector Gadget.

  • Comment removed

  • Great show I was Lucky enough it meet Michael Moynahan :) while I'm here in La today and he shouted me Lunch :) he's such a lover person spent like 1hr and half with him asked him about the show and stuff costumes etc

  • Ahh it brings me back. good stuff.

  • i wouldnt be suprised if some of these guys are child molesters, seems kina creepy when an adult acts this way, dressing up like a cat and talking wierd, i use to watch this shit in the morning on pbs, scary shit

  • @pinolero13 not really these days Particular in Australia ya have to get Working with Children Check,

what about other Non ZZ shows with Adults and kids would they classified as Child Molesters as well ?

  • what year was this again? im 22 and i remember watching this when i was younger

  • @m0n0xc1d3 It came out in 1986 and ended in 87 but still continue show for years after that (syndication). I'm 27 and I remember seeing it last in like 1993 on some Chicago broadcast channel

  • special guest: "Bubbles" the chimp! lololololol

  • I cannot say I've ever seen this show! LOL

  • I loved this show so much growing up. It was so cute.

  • so THAT'S where all these furries keep coming from

  • childhood memories...if u remember the song from a kid thumbs up

  • That lion used to scare the holy hell out of me.

  • Is it me or is all the actors on this show sweeter than a candy factory.

  • I can't believe I used to actually wake up early just to watch this shit. In NY, I remember it being on at like 5:30 or 6:30 in the morning, and I was the dumb preschooler waking earlier than I had to just to watch this. WTF. Kids have no taste.

At least the kangaroo chick's not that bad, for a furry.

  • Wait... Is Ben Vereen playing a monkey? And they used his regular Ben Vereen hair? Shouldn't they have given him a shaggy monkey wig or something? That seems kinda... O_o

  • @TD9001 He played a LEOPARD.

  • @TD9001 He's a black leopard. Hard to see the spots in this low-res copy.

  • I distinctly remember asking my mom why these characters all never left the warehouse. Even to my toddler eyes, the set looked so... like a studio.

  • and this is where the Furry Fetish comes from boys and girls....

  • oh god, here come the nightmares. this the most terrifying thing i've ever seen; how did i like this as a child?

  • It was actually an old PBS show breaking up sesame street and Mr Rodgers

  • Jesus christ this is creepy!!! how the hell did i watch this every morning without crapping my pants...83 baby

  • this show scared the hell out of me as a child. jesus christ this is just too bizarre

  • Was that a mountain in the background? I seem to remember (or think I remember) something about a giant screen inside the mountain.

  • what crack was I on as a child to think this shit was good...sadly I am still looking for full episodes 22 years later on here

  • 21 people weren't welcomed to Zoobilee Zoo.

  • I actually watched this crap lmao

  • God, the fox used to annoy the hell out of me. I freaking loved this show otherwise :)

  • @choirfreak26 : lolz! Maybe it's the fact that (since you are probably a choir freak like me) Bravo the Fox has the worst sense of rhythm for someone who claims to be a prodigy of the stage. Haha!

  • I love how all these ppl are saying it looks creepy. Really? I grew up on this as many others have. I miss this show so much :) I remember being like 5 or 6 and being upset if I missed an episode. Remember that? When the biggest worry you had was being home at the right moment to catch your fav show?

  • This made me feel so weird. I think I wanted to cry. That black man cat. Why he gotta open his eyes like that?

  • damn i used to watch this all the time when i was a kid.. next weekend im going to get high as fuck and watch all these episodes

  • ben vereen is the man!!!!

  • I find this disturbing and creepy

  • i remember i used to only watch this show for the theme song

  • omg i miss this show.. if people wonder why kids today dont have common sense or a sense of values, it's because they don't have kid shows like we did back in the 80's . Shows that were not only entertaining but also educated in values and morals.

  • How is it possible that I watched this show constantly when I was 4 and 5 and did not wind up gay? I mean, I loved it at the time but now it looks like Halloween on Castro Street.

  • @slackerjon5000 Probably because of Whazzat. I wanted to bang her when I was 4.

  • @OllieAverage I'm pretty sure it's Lori Petty aka Tank Girl..

  • damn i remember this show--even though it debut a year before i born, it came on in the early 90s and i watched it everyday with my sisters---this show was awesome-lol

  • The characters used to scare me when i was 8 watching this.

    but kept watching it.

anyone remember the show with this curly haired guy with a skin suit of his internal organs. i forget the name. argh..

  • @kpbrian79 omg, i do remember that!!! but I forgot the name too....

  • @kpbrian79 - found it! Mr. Goodbody, youtube, even has some videos.

  • @mrsjwilliams2003 that's it!!! haha wow brings back memories

  • One of my mom's long time friends' brother was in this. Gary Shwartz. Actually a pretty good actor.

  • OH MY GOD!! i started to think that i made this show up. all i could remember was the painting lion!
