Actually, Ariel still sings in the show. It's not her actually talking though, it's more of her singing her thoughts. :) SO, the lead still sings quite a bit!

well i don't think it would be that hard to dance in those shoes... the heel is pretty thick and i'm sure it has a strap so it would stay on..i mean some salsa dancers dance in thinner heels... but then again they are on their toes almost the whole time.

omg, this was so great, I loved every minute of the musical, it was pure magic! and to join in the why-the-hell-is-her-dress-pink­-discussion: I think the blueish-green one she wears at disneyworld suits her better, but the pink's not really that bad... Because I've seen the Disney movie and if you have the answer, I'd like to hear it.

Did you know that the movie dress is inspired from three other Disney princess' gowns? The puffed shoulders are from Snow Wite, the neckline and sleeves by Aurora and the bottom by Cinderella's dress. And they chose the same color for Ariel's pink dress as Cinderella's first, which is destroyed by the stepsisters!

And the blue dress she wears when she goes to town with Eric is inspired by two princess as well.

The top is inspired by Briar Rose's outfit, when she was hiding in the forest and the legth of the skirt is the same as Snow White's yellow dress. The blue color was inspired by Cinderella's blue ball gown.

Now you know something that almost nobody knows!

@DjCelsGroupies the red hair was because it could work with the cool tones of the sea and the bright vibrant colors of the land above without changing the color to match the tone. the pink dress...i guess they thought well lets give her something other than sea tones for one dress and then the rest of her outfits are blue green and purple on color.
