  • Imagine if someone went into a bar or restaurant and used this thing... x D

  • @ProtectorsGameGuide My dad's friend did, and almost got banned. The owner and him were good friends though, so the owner just made him not do it again.

  • @MEOWitsruby Me must've really sucked at hiding it, lol. Well, either that, or couldn't stop laughing and made it obvious who was doing it.

  • @MrHdTelevision If you mean Skynet, then no. If you mean the actual atmosphere we live in, then also no...

We need more people to ask hard pressing questions like these to fix the world we live in :)

  • @SilentSnipest ahh :(

  • @SilentSnipest Thanks i got it to work with my tv yaaay!! :D

  • @SilentSnipest can i use it on my neighbors tv from my house 17 yards

  • @SilentSnipest always keep in mind that there are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots...

Can't wait till tomorrow (in which I will find my self in exactly in 28minutes after leaving this comment) when I meet people at work which have the ability to question me even less precise and more random questions about work processes THEY even teached me on my very first day which is from now speaking almost 1.57 months ago...

  • @crizzy777 of course I meant "1.57 years ago..." I now see already some damage my brain seems to took away since I started working there...

  • @SilentSnipest He meant Sky the British satellite broadcaster.

  • you get them from EBAY!!!! i got one for 2 dollars

just go to ebay and buy one

search it up you will find one

  • were can i get one of these remotes? and is it only available by mail?

  • @itsGdublan cause u can go to gamestop and turn of the tv

  • how about i just pick up the fucking remote and turn off the fucking tv. why would you buy this?

  • @itsGdublan The reason this tool is so nice is for a couple of reasons.

    1) It is small. Very useful for not getting noticed.

    2) It is universal without the need for finding TV Brand / Codes. This makes it the ultimate tool for manipulating televisions you do not own.

  • yeah but the only person you are going to be fooling is your family and if they already know you have, its useless

  • @SilentSnipest I say the best use is in a bar on Super Bowl Sunday with a 20 yard tie breaker in the last 10 seconds of the game. " Power "

  • @itsGdublan so you can go into bars/restaurants/stores etc. and fuck with ppl.

  • @itsGdublan lolol u fail.

  • no you do. you are just a dumb fag with no life. why the fuck would you pay good money on a universal remote to turn off the tv when someone's watching? your pretty much paying to be a faggot.

  • @itsGdublan well, it doesn't ALWAYS have to be when the tv is turned on. you can do it when the tv is turned off, and when noone is paying attention to it. something called having harmless fun. try it sometime.

  • im pretty sure i can find something funner to do than getting giggles from turning a tv on and off. i'd have more fun just staring at the wall then amusing myself with a 2 yr olds toy sold on a scam.

  • @itsGdublan im pretty sure i can find someone whos actually a REAL gangster, as seen from all the stuff on ur channel. but, since im too lazy to keep fighting this flame war, im gonna quit. oblargle. have fun trolling.

  • you cant find a real gangster on youtube retard. a real gangster can barely feed himself let alone have a computer and time to waste on youtube.. and then only reason you are quitting is because you have nothing to counter my statements. and what you call trolling, i call revealing the truth about shit in the videos and little faggots not wanting to except that.

  • @itsGdublan cool story bro.

  • not a story junior, its the reality.

  • @itsGdublan cool story bro.

  • reverting back to being a jackass i see.

  • @itsGdublan yes, yes i am. oh and BTW, cool story bro. :)

  • so your too lazy to defend your BS statement but you have time for being an idiotic moron? get a life fag

  • @itsGdublan cool story bro.

  • you need some friends. and by friends i dont mean your teddy bear that you ass fuck every night on nights when your mom isnt splitting your ass in half with her 15 inch dick.

  • @itsGdublan cool story bro.

  • the saddest part is you just sitting there and waiting for my response.

  • @itsGdublan cool story bro.

  • Will it work on a projector?

  • will it work on a projector?

  • omg i so want one of these when we are watching those boring videos in class

  • You have the voice of Glados in Portal :D

  • lol, your brother saw you

  • if the TV is off, can you still link it with the remote using the mute button?

  • @marvel626 You can link it using the power button if the TV is off.

  • Grow some balls before you get your ass kicked using this.

  • @norxcontacts And what happened then? Well, in Illinois they say that Austin's small balls grew three sizes that day. And then the true meaning of Christmas came through, and Austin found the strength of ten Austin's plus two.

  • Reminds me of a Watch I had back in the day, made by Casio. You had to press a button on the Watch like 900 times before it "locked" into the TVs signal. It had Channel, Volume, Start and Stop functions, and it was a working watch as well. It was pretty neat for... hmm lets see, I wanna say 1997.

  • haha, perfect for watching a boring movie in class.

  • d will it still work on tvs with cable boxes

  • man im gonna try dis at school

  • Does this work with digital boxes or HD top boxes?

  • u can use any button to program it... i dscovered it

  • does both of the leds suppose to work?

  • @Naurtopokemonmaster1 Yep, both LED's work using IR... or they should... I can't really see into that spectrum of light to test it out... but I hope they do. :P

  • @SilentSnipest if you wanna c it use a digital camera or your phones camera

  • @SilentSnipest point it at your cam to see you will see a light from them because digital camera are IR sensitive

  • @SilentSnipest were do you get these?

  • @chrisuselding They are on many many sites nowadays. This particular model is older and probably harder to find. Just check around some tech sites with google search and you should find some!

  • @macemace97 I have two of them right now and its been awhile since I used it... I think Im'ma bust it out today. >:P

  • Lame, they saw you, u gotta hide!

  • im getting one a week from today

  • u dont get it from think geek u get it from ninja gadgetz

  • ninja remote is better than the one they sell at thinkgeek i jus found that out this mornin

  • I'm convincing my parents to let me get one, but they have one concern. When you sync the ninja remote to the tv, does the regular remote for the tv still work? (will the ninja remote be the only working remote once synced). Because I want to use it, but I don't want to screw up the tv by making the ninja remote the only remote that the tv responds to.

  • @EricAndBertcakes the original tv remote will still work

  • Its a cool device, but you suck at being a ninja about it.

  • Where to buy?

  • Oh yes I will have to get this and have some fun in class >:)

  • Does this work on TV's with iO Cablevison?

  • @CaptainClutch423 If you use a seperate remote to control the cable box then this will not control it from my knowledge. It will only operate on the television itself, not the cable channels unless the cable channels are controlled by your normal television remote.

  • just bought the remote for only $2.21 :)

  • fuckin awesome!!

  • Are the infrared lights on the top supposed to constantly stay on because on mine the lights are always on for some reason?

  • This seems quite odd. Mine only lit during use. This could be a manufacturing problem and you may want to check up with the company to see if this is normal. Perhaps you have a newer version? Hope this helps!

    Austin

  • Comment removed

  • Cool video i luv this remote its the bomb!

    chekout my video!

  • haha awesome good review 5*

  • HELP!! plzz so okay, will this work on any comcast cable tvs?like i have a toshiba and we have comcast cable, and we aim the comcast remote at its sensor thing, but wont work with ninja renmote,is it not suppoed to work on comcast?

  • It will only change the television channels itself. This will not change the cable station channels. This means that it will effect your Toshiba, but not the Comcast box.

  • yea the remote doesnt work on like 70 % of Tvs out there just to let you know

  • I'm not sure what TV's you are using your remote on, but I have had much more success than that. I'm sorry to hear that high percentage : /

  • "Austin, stop. Showin' all your friends you're a geek"

    lol.

  • Lots of fun sports bars with multiple tvs. People flip out. Particularly if there is a game on. Yes I'm evil. :3

  • LMAOOOO I was just thinking about that.

  • @zellychan LOL! Changing it in a middle of a game to the Lifetime Channel while in a sports-bar. SUCCESS!!!!! LOL

  • @zellychan its all fun and games until you get beat up by drunk sports fans.

  • @zellychan Hahaha thats why I really fucking want to buy one!

  • is this and the white one the same?

  • I have no clue about the white one... Give me a link to it and I can see whether it is similar or not.

  • Okay, so I looked it up brianstorm. It looks to be the same. It may not be manufactured from the same company or work for TVs in the US Region, but I will say chances are it will function the same. Go ahead and grab it :P

  • @SilentSnipest

does the light turn on? mine isnt working

when I put the battery in ( its in the right way ) no light turns on at all ive tried everything i ordered 2 and neither worked

this is the exact same model as you have but different color and i ordered mine from dealextreme

    help?

  • There are no lights on the remote itself.

  • I pushed the Mute-button 5, 10, 20, 60 ......... seconds, but it still doesn't work (I don't see anything appear on my television screen). Can you tell me what's going wrong? Thanks..

  • So you are holding down the mute button for the appropriate time and it does not mute the television? If so, try it on another TV and see if it works. If not it may be the batteries.... If this continues to not work for that particular TV, you could be out of luck. This remote doesn't work on every model of television ever made, just a good portion of today's brands.

    Best wishes,

    Austin

  • Thanks for your response ! I will try..

  • try opening

    a car?

  • i tried this in an assembley at my school and it worked! it was so funny!

  • better than TVBEGONE!

  • TVBEGONE was a piece of crap

  • nice i need one of those`

  • try dealextream

    ThinkGeek is very high price

  • You can get these in Poundland in the UK. For £1 (obviously).

  • were do you buy them??????!!!!

  • ebay! its awsome just got one for 2.89. free shipping!

  • im got one on ebay, its awesome one guy at applebees and i turned off the tv he was like ,"huh, how did that happen"?

  • RottSimba yea but u cant get them anywhere now its illegal and i heard this remote is a peice of shit

  • where can i buy batteries for these.m friend is gunna sell me 1 i offered $6.but he doesn't hav the battery.

  • I'm sure you could buy these batteries at any general store. Your best bet is just going to a Wal-Mart and ask them where they keep all of the different types of batteries.

  • is tht the same size as the batteries from a watch?

  • I'm not sure if it is a watch battery or not... but it definitely seems plausible. I just know what the battery looks like and that's how I replace it.

  • hey if i use it on my TV and i go lets say to my friends house can i reprogram to work it on my friends TV and if yes does it mean i have to reprogram again to use it on my TV or it already remembers the code for my TV

  • I missed it you said it worked on 3 tv's so basically question is does it remember the code on your 3 tv's or you have to reprogram again for each TV whenever you have to use that TV?? Thanks....

  • Basically it is the most simple form of a universal remote. For every switch between TVs you must reprogram it the way that is showed in the video. If you want a remote that does not have to do this, you might have to go a bit more in depth and find a "real" universal remote. The problem about that is it is less discrete and you may have to use software/product info to get the remote to work.

  • mine didn't work-at all for any tv-I think batteries were dead when I got it, so have to get new ones and try again

  • Damn I wish I had this to use on the TVs in my high schools cafeteria. ESPN is boring when you have commons for an hour and a half.

  • does this remote work with the latest and the newest tv's i mean like the lcds and the new hd sony bravia tv's

  • Definitely! My parents recently purchased a very nice Toshiba LCD (HD). I believe it is 52". Anyways, the remote does indeed connect to that just as it does with standard definition televisions.

  • geek

  • does the tv need to be on for you to program it?

  • yes it does

  • howwlong did it taake to get to you?

  • Ehhh... I don't remember exactly but I think within 1 week.

  • can you use 1 ninja remote on several TV's (if you point and mute between them)?

because i saw them selling in packs of 1-5.

  • Yes, you can switch between as many TVs as you want, but you must set it up for every individual TV. You can't control all of them at the same time. That is why having more than one can be a good thing because you can keep one for every different TV you want to have control of. Otherwise if you don't mind taking the time to switch one should be good.

  • are the sold in stores or mostly online?

  • I haven't seen anything like this sold in stores. There are other universal remotes, but they do not auto-switch through all the different settings to fine tune it to a specific TV. You would actually have to find out the brand and model of the specific TV you would want to take over. So if you want a product like this chances are you will have to look into buying it only... I am sure there is a store with a similar product somewhere though.
