I can honestly say that Moody Blues is my favorite of all of Declan's songs. I like it even better than Tell Me Why, which probably comes in at number 3 behind Ego You. In the album, and especially this performance, the listener feels an emotional connection with the singer. It's as if Declan's emotions carry though the notes somehow. Good job, Declan. Sing and write more original material. Clearly, this is your forte!

The lighting for this show is not the best, it has a bluish tinge and doesn't do justice to Declan's nice features, unfortunately. Neither is the camera angle shot the best...being from the same direction in all the songs and pointing upwards slightly. Just as well it's sweet Declan singing or I wouldn't care much. <3

I just think we are seeing poor quality video and sound filmed at a stage most are crappy. I see it in several "homemade" videos.

He always pushes from his toes to hit some of the notes. I love him...

We see him on some tv shows in Germany, however I heard Declan say it took getting used to in Germany but "minors" are not allowed by law to do live TV singing, has to be lipsink. he said he hated that part of it. but at least on TV there he sounds great!

I just got the You and Me album and I can't stop listening to this song! It's my favorite. Truly and seriously, this has got to be the most beautiful song I've ever heard and I'm old! (Well, if you consider 37 old). Clearly, Declan's creative talent extends beyond his voice. He's a genius songwriter, too. The reason is, and I hate to say this because I live here, but Americans sometimes eat their young. I feel so sorry for these young stars whose personal lives are invaded by tabloid vultures, you know? It's so unfair. Declan needs to prepare for that sort of thing before coming here. But, like you, I can't wait either.

Might you be referring to High School Musical? I agree. The first High School Musical was fantastic, but the glory ended there. When Disney got a hold of it, they commercialized it and made High School Musical II and all the variants into overdone, commercialized, poorly-written, poorly-choreographed versions of the original.
