@fanatiza I hate pathetic Finns they think they're the best at everything, they are fucking soulless subhumans wishing to live in Russia, they live in iglos and hunt for polar bears. Me? A guy from Sweden who hates Finland with a fucking passion.
You call us racists? Fucking gay swede, go fuck Karl-Åkes ass like you always do. Knight of the Brown Hole!
For everyone who has brains; finns are not racist or unfriendly. Some are of course, like in every place, but most of us are not.
@darknagual Ehm...well no. Seriously. Finns do not have slanted- not even slightly slanted eyes. Maybe you're talking abt the Sami ppl in Lapland. I kind of understand you, because you're Australian.
@gojo345 I wanna tell this to someone, i never respect our nature that much.. But today with my friend, we went fishing in deep deep forest, just randomly used lake from map. There was no human buildings in 50 square miles, and it is protected area (anything not allowed to build). There was incredible natural sandbeach, it is one kilometer long sandbeach in deep of the forrest where almost no-one ever goes. Untouched, like a paradise. Now i started to respect our nature!
Only finnish natives(Sami-people) heritage is asian.
Most of finns have came from middle-europe(and west).
It's true that eastern finns are more relatived to russains than to westerns finns and western finns are more relatived to swedes and norwegians than to eastern finns.
Wow, never thought that Finland could ot be a parto of "Scandinavia". Actually, for non Northern European, we probably call Scandinavia country we are looking with eager eyes and seem to be close to paradise ^^.
But whatever the name of what Finland belongs, it is anyway a wonderful, such as Northern Europe's country in general :-)
an example- the kola peninsula which is now a part of Russia is ALSO a lawful part of Scandinavia. so it can't be "russia" or something else just because it's located in Russia. it's Scandinavia
Swedish and Norwegian people occupies the rest of the Scandinavian Peninsula and both of their languages are Indo-European languages and belongs to the North Germanic branch of the Germanic languages which is absolutely different from finns.! So there are different origins, yes. but it is all still Scandinavia. finns are lawfully scandinavians.
lol.. some of you have mistakes. Finland is a part of Scandinavia GEOGRAPHICALLY. the people- finns are of finno-ugric branch. the indigenous people of finland, norway and sweden- the Sami people are also of finno-ugric branch. both languages- finnish and sami are a part of finno-ugric language branch with the closest relatives geographically (!) being Estonians.
i have this argument all the time , friends of mine swear finland is not part of scandinavia and i feel with my heart that it is. Tämä minun synnyinmaa !
@furrkk Yeah, but as you can see, we look totally different (Finns and Turkish ppl) Our genome is partly North Asian, Scandinavian, German and so (mix). We're not Scandinavian, we're Finno-Ugric like Sami ppl in Lapland.
He/she claims that finns came from asia. However nowadays its saisd that asia begins after volga or even ural, which is far more east that any ancestor of medern finns would have gone. Of course many went that way, but they dont speak finnish. Finns originate from baltic and further south, like modern poland and belarus.
And, the term "scandinavia" covers sweden and norway but only the northern parts of finland. however "fennoscandia" covers all the way down to karelia and laatokka (lake ladoga).
@furrkk Finnish roots are fenno-ugric, and it's proved that genetically the most nearest relative people are the people of north germany. It's bullshit that the finns have roots in "curve of Volga". But you're right, our roots aren't scandinavian either.
@Peppepoppldoppl Germanic people have had a big impact in finnish heredity. Finns are a mix of many peoples: during thousands of years there have been immigrants moving to finland, for example russians, karelians, samis and scandinavians. Prove that your claim is right. Last year there was a research about finnish heredity, and it told that eastern and western finns differs more from another than the average finns and northern germans.
@lepsi777 well, I myself is Scandinavian, my ancestry comes from Prussia and Sweden. Are the real finns the ones with the ......different genetics in eyes and face?
@lepsi777 I heard that the peak of Scandinavian haplogroup I1 percentage amongst the population is in Satakunta. This may be the answer to your statement? Although, amongst the people its the largest in the rest of Scandinavia.
Finland is NORDIC, that's what you say when referring to "Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Denmark, Finland" etc. - I think they're all happy with that. :p :D

@darknagual Slanted eyes are just something that have evolved to people in harsh climates. It does not mean genetic relation.
