You're videos are actually more helpful than people make out =) Nice to see a group of people showing us what elements make up trance, as well as how it progresses. I finally have inspiration to begin producing again =) Keep up the good work guys, and possiblity for a FL Studios tutorial at some point?? Sure alot of people would also want them!! =D
@Min3cr4ftFre4ks@yoonjaechung Yes mate if you go to the download link in the description you can buy it there, it is a very good course I learnt alot so much so that I am now signed to Simon Patterson's label Night Vision :D

It's not a how-to per se but it does show the layout of a good trance track, which I've been having trouble with so it's a massive help. Sounds great too
@chickentikka88@yoonjaechung go to the download link in the description you can buy it there, it is a very good course I learnt alot so much so that I am now signed to Simon Patterson's label Night Vision :D
Nice track, this ONLY demonstrates the great diveristy of colour within Ableton Live. You don't teach anyone a thing, past your being totally unoriginal by combining the sounds of Above & Beyond, First State, Arty - to name a few.
Its about as "how to" as a virgin trying to have sex in the dark.
i guess u have to be a little known with beat programs like 4bleton or reason etc.
experiment more dont be scared
btw the "virgin" could try things out and experiment based on sense...with what he hears if it doesnt sound good than its prob. wrong. instead of using or copying a technique he learnt from youtube
This isn't a how to, it's just a video of your track playing, and your download link is a link to your product. Don't do your marketing like this guys, you've made me not want to watch any more of your videos, and certainly not purchase anything from you.
I really appreciate the track you have shown us. I would love to learn to make a track like this. Only thing that bothersme is how do you get that mainbass sound at the 1:00 mark? thanks :)
Rename to: "How to mislead using a title to gain us more views". and advertise something for money. that should be free, not 25 euros. Stop trying to turn an already struggling scene into a money making game. Projects and INFORMATION to help new producers LEARN should be open source and FREE. We're supposed to be learning and doing this as a hobby and fun, why try to squeeze money out of people. "Download link" is also misleading as hell.
You are really great producers guys - congratz on that :)) But your videos are not how to make - there is an difference between making of and full unshowed track (sorry)
So nice, i love this kind of music, can you please make a litlle tutorial on the beat an bass line? in ableton? i use fl studio as number 1 but making trance with that is not so nice..
now i know for sure the difference between progressive trance and uplifting trance. uplifting trance derived from progressive trance, but is faster and uses more super saw and similar progressions
@askadetra not all dj's recognize all these kinds of styles, they'll say they do a bit of everything and just consider it electronic dance music, like PvD, he rly hates these titles
@lmos26 djs who hate the titles of the styles are total fools, because styles are important to be known and to define any track. djs who recognize the kinds of styles and can't define tracks, and also doing a bit of everything makes them bad djs. a real dj knows at least some styles and their typical things and he creates tracks in their pure style, for example the tracks may be progressive trance, so those bad djs mixing elements from a few styles is just for the trash. edm is not a style.
@askadetra You say an awful lot about what, "this and that is or does" by basically applying your personal opinions and self inflating them as what you call absolute fact. According to your "theory", PVD is a fool and a considerably bad dj, yet he's one of the richest and most widely regarded DJ in the industry. That by itself shows your statement is grossly contradictory. Only with a very extensive poll of millions of industry fans, would I ever consider making such a claim.
@lmos26 shut up fool. first, you first mentioned pvd. i don't care about what dj you mention. i wanted to tell that djs who don't play the genres as they should be played with their typical things and not to be mixed with elements of other styles, then their music is not pure and not what it should be. but there are many djs who make their good tracks in a pure style so listeners who are interested in defining their favorite track, to do it easily. and there are the pure styles of trance
great tune
