Here in Dallas the government just gave us a very healthy grant to put a system in place downtown!!! Thank you President Obama! Anyone here from Portland? Do you like your street car system? Our system will connect downtown with uptown via the new deck park over the freeway. It will also connect two or possibly three other neighborhoods to downtown. It will be a nice compliment to the DART Rail network!
Streetcar is the best transport sistem;there is the aeromovel(there are some videos in You Tube)a train that uses just air and can ride over a comon avenue or big street,and the modern dirigible(example:Aeroscraft)...
they look like a very nice way to travel around a city, but do they go fast? they look like fun for tourists -but bad for commuters.

Very Nice!!! I live in Washington DC and our new light rail system will look simalar. Much more quiet and capacity ac compared to a bus.

These ones are Czech trams Skoda 10T made by Skoda in Pilsen, CZ, Europe. And I am proud of it ´cose Im Czech.. :-)
