I keep saying it, the 70 hemi makes ove 500 hp stock from the factory, the insurance companies rated it at 425 hp for insurance purposes. If your car with a BLOWER couldn't make but 500 hp, you'd better get another blower or have some one set it up right, because it should make over 600 hp with the blower.

@zeppelin67637 Hey Billy Bad Ass, If YOU noticed I didn't say HIS car had a Hemi, all I said was what a Hemi put out, I had a 69 Dodge Super Bee with 440 six pak, after I sold the car the guy put a 6-71 blower setup on it and it put out 650hp on the dyno. That why I said his car should put out more. Now look at the other posts and see anywhere that I said his car had a Hemi. I'm more knowledgeable on Mopar than you are.

To each his own man, not everyone wants a strictly track driven car. This is a beautiful machine and I say let the man do what he wants. It's nice to be able to say you have a 9 second car thAT you built yourself in the garage, but it's also nice being able to drive it to a local cruise night and still be able to stop at the 93 octane pump on the way home! lol Awesome car you have here, great job.

@kanukster the carbs that are on the car in the video are 650s now theres 800 blower carbs on it now. the blower is 2% underdriven with 8.5:1 comp. and 595 lift cam.

Ya, nice street combo! you can overdrive if needed. 800 x 2= Fat! But with blower set up you most likely got them leaned out abit. Converter stall and final gear? Steel heads or alum? I love the colour and the billboards! Happy hunting!

I get the you ruined the car comment alot because the car is back halfed. Its just a flat stock hood. This car has been through alot before i bought it. The car was hit on every corner of the car. it was rusted pretty bad that why the guy before me started to back half it. love the looks of the car, but you can't get a whole lot of horsepower out of that roots on gas, unless there's an inter-cooler in there somewhere. The sound of a roots blown engine at idle is awsome. And those who don't know it's a 440 read the more info button at the top.
