in terms of power, it's true that the wii u's graphics card will be old by the time it comes out, but you have to put the other specs in to consideration, like the cpu and ram. the 360's gpu was stronger than the ps3s', but its processor limited the amount of things it could do, not to mention it uses DvDs. the wii U will use 25G disks to my understanding and according to some devs, will have "a lot more ram" than the current gen. but with that said, it probably will the weakest next gen. :P

Thisnk about it, the only Mario game with full TRUE 3d gaming was Sunshine, and fans shat on it so instead of refining it Nintendo took a step backwards and went back to Mario moving like he's on a unicyle with limited camera angles/smaller levels.

Wario Land is a good 2d platformer, but its not Mario Bros Wii. Epic Mickey is on loan. It has shitty camera work. Zak and Wiki is good but once you beat it, you beat it. And no, I got Sin and Punishment about 2 months after it came out.

That's mainly because my original Xbox was never hooked up to Xbox Live, so all of the achievements I earned on the first system went bye bye when my house was broken into and my original 360 was stolen. So with the exception of maybe 5 achevements, everything I do have was earned over the course of this year.

1. the graphics card may be 4 years old but graphics havent increased by a whole lot since then and in order to keep a console cheaper than a brand new PC its going to use technology thats outdated...

2. Consoles can put graphics cards to better use than PCs can so again, 4 year old graphics card doesnt matter

3. its already been confirmed by sony and microsoft that the graphical leap between their next consoles and the wii u aren't going to be high

@revelthehunter 1) The "confirmation" on the PS4 is just a Sony suit in Europe speculating about it. 2) An article published in Japan in May the month before said suit had his interview states SOny was working on increased graphical power for PS4 due to developer complaints about the PS3. 3) when the PS3's hardware specs were finalized in 2005, the GPU they selected was a modifed version of one that came out the same year.

On top of that, unless they can support a resolution higher than 1080p youre not even gonna be able to notice any difference... tbh i think processing power will be most important next gen which is where i think sony and microsoft will beat nintendo, not graphics or online
