@906Bluelight I really need to replace this one, it is quite old and frankly are superceeded by the video's of learnRenoise (Achenar).
You can find those video's in my channel on te favorites list (they go a bit broader than my videos as well) as well as a few new instructions for Renoise 2.7.
@TheDudettes10: There is a demo version that doesn't expire, but simply has a few limitations -> Rendering to wav and ASIO support are disabled.
ReWire is usable but has a few limitations. And you get a nag screen here and there. (Not during production though but e.g. when terminating the application or at startup).
Other than that, the demo is fully functional, including saving songs, instruments and samples.
@vvoois Thanks! And I need help. How do you seperate the instruments? I clicked on Stick and made like 3, and then I did some Drumloop things, and when I added them in, it made the sticks the same thing. So I need help! It keeps mixing up!
@TheDudettes10 Perhaps consider joining the Renoise community? People are really helpful and friendly (and you get quite quicker responses than here because i don't check comments too often):
The resolution partially depends on the tickrate (Speed). With Renoise 2.0, the tickrate does notinfluence the songspeed anymore, so you can raise it and have a higher enveloppe integrity ;)
Great stuff! I'm still a bit confused regarding the interpolate option. anyways, will read up o that. Keep the tutorials coming. They are clear and easy to follow.
I found this to be very helpful and not too fast or anything. Thank you

Is this something you can download or do you buy it? Or is there a free trial? This sounds fun lol

It's called an accent. You might know that if you could learn a language.

Hello boys,
i got one suggestion on the INSTRUMENT EDITOR.
the resolution on the 2 ENVOLOPES, it might be slightly intenser.
cause if you try cut off very short on the pitch for example of it, you can hear the resolution on it.
i hope this information will help Renoise better

so how do you make your videos. like how do you get it to pan around
patto2k 3 years ago
I use Camtasia Studio for that.
I pan only a zoomed part of the area, that is the trick.

i downloaded 1.8 and i cant seem to find any samples would you plz tell me where to get the samples?
FutubeintheA 3 years ago
Renoise comes with tutorial songs that contain samples. On our forums there is a pinned topic in the Tricks and Tips tree where to get free samples.
Btw, Renoise 1.9 is currently the latest.
vvoois 3 years ago
En waar kan ik die tutorial songs vinden?
Het is echt geen gemakkelijk programma :)
Peaveygrinderr 3 years ago
Tja, ook in de menubar van Renoise is er een "Help" link:
Help -> Tutorial and Demosongs -> kies er maar een uit de lijst.
Hoezo niet makkelijk?

Look at position 2:48 in the tutorial, it is showing exactly what you are asking.
vvoois 3 years ago
i know that this is like the most basic question but i cant seem to figure it out O.o!
how do you insert the samples or whatever to the pattern editor, that "G - 401" kind of stuff :S
ElPinochoAutista 4 years ago
You might want to try and read this part of the manual:
tutorials. renoise. com/ Renoise/ InputKBD
(sorry full qualified urls seem to be discarded in comments)
