lothar ist das nach beckenbauer der beste den deutschland jemahls hatte... eine absolute legende, nach den beiden kommt nix mehr. ballack und co. haben nicht das erreicht was ein lothar erreicht hat und waren auch nicht so flexibel einsetzbar. er ist eine lichtgetalt im fußball der gute alte lothar, sein name ist auf einer höhe mit denen von einem zidane,ronaldo(der brasilianer),pele,maradona,cru­yff,beckenbauer,platini etc. er hat uns mit dem kaiser 1990 die WM gebracht!

Rapid vienna: after a year worst placement in its history. Partizan belgrad: well champion, but without any real competition. Hungary (national): missed WC 2006 qualification. @guapotegay Matthaus was far more complete, better dribbler, better tackler and scored more goals. Matthaus is probably the most complete midfielder of all time - Kaká, Gerrard and Bastien in one player.

@guapotegay no way is Schweinsteiger better than Matthaus better than Ballack yes but Schweisteiger just like Ballack lacks explosiveness and acceleration they both have impressive defensive and creative skills plus blasters form outside but unlike matthaus they tend to take the pace out of the game. Schweinsteiger can be more of a leader in 2012 0r 2014 in case we need it but for attacking play Germany now has Ozil and Goetze. Matthaus had do all of that at times.
