Secondly using the word "said" in that manner and context is pathetic, why do people on the internet feel the urge to speak like that? Thirdly "intricacies of American's act" I'm sorry but British comedy is on average much more intelligent and intricate than American comedy. No offence btw but that's just my opinion on what you've said

My comment referred to McIntyre alone who is one of those types like Robbie Williams who picks and mixes the creativity of their betters and pass it off as their own to the undemanding masses. British comedy as 3 of those on your list show is probably unsurpassed.

Actually, I'm female and I have all those things, too. Plus old instruction manuals, a toaster from 1986 (that still works, however), and a radiator key that hangs with pride just inside one kitchen cupboards. And yes.. it did feel good to inform my dad - ever so casually - that I had bled the radiator in the bedroom but the situation hadn't got better.
