Golden Earring were inspired by the TV series when George Kooymans (singer/guitar) wrote this in 1982. In the music's intro he referred to the intro of the tv series and the lyrics also play on the themes from Rod Sterling's superbly created TV series. THanks for this upload, and enjoy your great Golden State.I lived in SoCal and loved it. I hope to get back one day.

I remember in the 80s reruns of the old black & white twilight zone would play, as a kid your like oh man it's in black & white it's gonna suck. However I loved the episodes they were always great. Credit to the writers of that show they were before their time.

Well now I am too young to remember the original TV series (original was 1959-1964 and I was born in 1971) and in the 80s and recently when they revived it, it never interested me (not having seen any of the original shows) but it still looks awfully interesting as a TV series, and of course the song ROCKS OUT LOUD!

Great montage! Sci Fi channel used to run Twilight Zone episodes every New Years Eve back in the 1990's. The episodes are so iconic.
