  • I am not a truck driver but i i do highly praise this guy parking up so carefully. It doesn't matter how long it takes him to position and park his truck, as long as he doesn't cause damage to other vehicles or injure anyone in the process. If this guy is a "Rookie" as you call them, just remember you were there once when you were new to the job of driving a 50+ foot rig!! It looks hard to park such a massive truck, but experience will do you all the favours in the short run.

  • werner hires morons that cant drive

  • thats a damn long time to back in, it usually takes me about a little over a minute... but you guys at werner are not that experienced. wait til you do this for 15 yrs. then you can brag

  • well i would love to see some of yall back up classic xl .. driving volvos and century those are the ppl that usually get upset

  • check out my channel, i cant get no views hardly

  • HAHA.......I remember being in that position!!! I can laugh at it now, but at the time it was nerve wreckin'! I will say.....even with a spotter, I always got out and looked. Just to put in my mind where my trailer was and what I needed to do. The driver might not have had to pull up so many times. And dont mind all the "internet" Rambos Keystrucker, they are just mad they didnt get to video the moment! LOL Love all your vid's.......keep 'em comin'!

  • Backing a 53 foot trailer into a slot like that takes skills. I presume this is a rookie being shown here? It's remarkable how these folks can maneuver these rigs into tight spots and loading bays.

  • Hey...the guy had a trainer..this is not poking fun at anyone just a documentation of a new driver and what he goes through when he first starts driving. Sorry if it has upset so many of you..

  • @keystrucker no prob, sometimes after driving 10-11 hours and tired as all get out, I couldn't back into the state of California

  • Let's see you do it when you are very tired and very hungry. :(

  • IT DOESNT MATTER IF YOU PULL UP 20 TIMES AS LONG AS YOU DONT HIT ANYTHING!

  • keys, you didnt make this guy start drivin, but an observation is just that. ill bet any of these super drivers would`nt get off there fat asses to help this guy, why should they? he is free white and 21, cant hack it? work for micky d`s

  • I agree why didnt you be a MAN and a PROFESSIONAL and get and help? But no...you had to post this shit to make you look all superior. Chances are you got to that stop before anyone else. Geezus, what a prick.

  • i looked and i didnt see any videos on your channel of you backing up any better .....good video on how to make french toast in a truck ....looser

  • He didnt hit nothing ..only thing he or she didnt do was GOAL..

  • What band is playing those tunes please??? It's really groovy! :)

  • I worked for them when I first started in 03, my trainer was a dick, but I got even with him when he brought me to his home to stay, when he was out drinkin with his buds, his fat wife gave me an unbelievable gumjob, shout out to him and the city of Hartford in Ct

  • Give him credit, that Classic plus 53 feet of trailer is not a piece of cake to park in a tight spot, and most of all there is not damage and he was safe

  • Sheesh, while I was in training. I didn't back this bad. On my own, 11 hours on the road, I have backed this bad. It doesn't matter how many pull ups. I have a bigger member than you fight. We just gotta sleep and its nice to have eyes around us. Pilot in Indy and Pilot in VA, I had guys helping. I had a problem in Morris TA, I called a guy out who was heckling me.. guess he was a pudgy bastard that can only get his energy from the truck stop, others wanted to see a fight. Get it in the hole.

  • It took him a while but he didn't hit anybody. The driver is new. Next time help them out. Everybody was new at one time or another.

  • i ran into a guy out here and he told me if he can't drive into the parking spot he is moving on to the next stop. said he is paid to go forward not backwards.

  • my advice is to find a less difficult place to park!!!!

  • @TimU2Cool It is good for training, a lot of times where you makes the delivery is a same as tight as this hole, so if they like and got the time for training, why not? Let them be...

  • backing isnt the easyest and safest thing to do..with or with out a spotter..who cares if it takes 6 min... or 30.... as long as they get it in safe..is what matters... cant all be super truckers.. not to mention he could be new and inexperianced so that takes a little more time

  • backing isnt the easyest and safest thing to do..with or with out a spotter..who cares if it takes 6 min... or 30.... as long as they get it in safe..is what matters... cant all be super truckers..

  • I have had my good days and bad days backing up into holes like that! At night or even when it's raining I'll give an assist to other drivers unless there is already a trainer there with them! I don't tell them how to back I just spot for them and try to help them from backing into another truck! Long story short? GOAL

  • Must've been a Swift driver before this

  • @travisihs08 hell he was probably starting as a werner driver... List of training companies in my 24 years experience. Swift, Werner, JB hunt, Central Refrigerated transport, Prime Transport. lol and tmc depending how many people they hire out of trucking school oh and Knight Transportation

  • Goal get out and look as long as you get in the hole with out hitting anything you did a good job know matter how long it take you

  • everyone has to learn sometime. That being said it's not every drivers job to help each other back into a space. If you're having trouble you just have to get out and look and readjust. I don't care if you have to back up 6 inches at a time and get out and look 30 times. I've been driving 20 years and yes sometimes it still doesn't slide in as easy as I'd like, but the last thing I'm gonna do is trust somebody I don't know from Adam to tell me how to do it.

  • what do you do when your "helper" backs you right into a truck ? think about it.

  • You know.. before I started actually driving a truck, I liked the kenworths, but after actually driving, I was glad to have a truck that had a shorter, nose so to say, because I worked in some awfully tight spots at hole in the wall warehouses.. where a foot made a huge difference.

Anyways, looks like he finally got in there. Good vid.

  • get out and help instead if laughing and videoing

  • Although apparently he had a spotted he used his better judgement and didn't totally rely on him.

  • Werner no longer buys long nose trucks. They are cycling thru what's remaining. Hey he didn't hit anything LOL. Looks like a new driver getting his confidence and skill level up.

  • I just got out of cdl trucking school the old timers told us back in the day truckers would help each other out them days are over

  • I always wondered why Werner always bought trucks with those big hoods on them.....especially considering they are a "trainer" company.

  • Well, gotta give the driver credit for not giving up. We all were rookies at some point.

  • Maybe the problem is the truck driver and NOT Werner watch our hot sexy drivers drive like if they were in go carts. Make that one for the girls!!!!

    youtube.com/watch?v=LZsGZBfBqvY

Trucks HD Part 2 Sexy chicks rock it and get you where you want to go!

  • Oh my all you assholes that are talking down on this guy, I guess all of you guy were born super truckers smh. Dont you just love people that forget where they came from EXP. takes time. You did the right thing slow and safe

  • this is what you get when you hire someone based on what is written on a piece of paper.....

  • So what if it took him 6 min he didnt hit anything. Try helping insted of waiting for somthing to happen. Trucking will never be the same.

  • That looks like my first parking job in my trainers truck. I was more worried about messing his truck up than how long it took me. Must have been 10 minutes for me, but i was happy because in the end i didnt hit anything

  • I can appreciate this video. I am currently in driving school and my practice is not in a carrier's lot. It's one thing when you practice with cones and quite another in this situation. As my trainer tells me, a company is not going to ask you how many pull-ups did it take to park the rig, they want to see that you can do it.

  • So what if it took 6 minutes....it's in the whole, and nothing was damaged, and no one was hurt. Pride goes by the wayside when you are backing. If you get in a hurry showing off, that's when you fuck up.

  • No matter how much experience you have, tell your mom & dad to quit playing with ya & put the camera down and go give a hand- 11+ yrs later I still help fellow drivers out, you must think after a few years that drivers don't have bad days, we do therefore I always try to help and thank other drivers for helping me when I need it. Btw cameraboy who do you make spit more, mom or dad?!?

  • @keystrucker Lol, whatever sh*thead

  • @keystrucker No you shot the video so you could convince yourself that you are superior and in doing so convinced us that you are a jerk,

  • @jeslol36 i just started driving for werner. ive gotten more help from other drivers than i did at truck driving school and werner training. youre right. a respectfull attitude and a willingness to listen is the most important trait a newbie can have. other truckers are more than willing to help out. thanks.

  • Seeing all these videos of drivers that can't back up is really sad in a way.

I feel for them because they were never taught properly. I had to alley dock, blind side alley dock, and parallel park three times in a row before I was even allowed to get my CDL.

Some of these trucking companies that provide their own schooling are the major problem. And some of these so-called trainers are worse than the learning driver.

  • Help the man park his truck

  • @1rlockner Wow..I'm impressed with your vocabulary.and almost spelled those big words right lol... get over yourself big guy :)

  • In my opinion, the more stressed out you get, the better you remember your mistakes ! That's how I learned anyhow.:)

  • I know when I first started driving a little over a year ago, Keytrucker was always available via a quick phone call to answer any questions I had! If a trainer had not been present Keystrucker would have gladly went over to assist!

  • hey all your people talking shit because he filmed it can you not see the guy helping? all the text he added was probably just for for a laugh, and tellin a man who is driving a truck that we are all new at some point is like telling a retard hes retarded they already know he probably went thru the same thing when he was new so stfu and get over yourself and to keystrucker good vid man

  • @darksiruis thanks man..i have caught so much flack over nothing here .. appreciate it :)

  • @keystrucker everywhere just filming and talking crap huh ? I am done watching these videos... so sad to see that the 'Pros" only find the time to bash the new drivers...ever think of this ....to the public a driver is a driver...no matter what company...cant wait until this industry is cleaned up and all there is left are drivers with pride in themselves and other drivers

  • Super Trucker saving the day from the comfort of his cab by filming a rookie... Keystrucker, you are a jackass. Insead of helping this guy, you chose to sit on your fat ass.

  • @AlexDeLarge941 yeah and how would that have made his trainer look like? I guess u would have gotten out and embarrased the trainer huh? Btw my azz isn't near as fat az yer head :p

  • @AlexDeLarge941 i hear ya..i'll be a rookie soon.so look out and get your camera's rdy..i don't give a crap if it takes me 5-20 min to park..i'll just lmao ..but i guess this guy was born a pro huh.love the truckers that have to be little the rookies.you all started somewhere at one time..kinda like when i was fresh out of bootcamp.called a camper huh...later

  • @smokeGR20 Mr. smoke..I didn't poke fun at anyone..just documented the process. He had a trainer to help him so I didn't feel like I should get out and help. It would have made the trainer look bad in the trainee's eyes. I was just showing the hardship some folks have with new backing. If that is wrong to you then I'm sorry. Have a great day and good luck with your new career :)

  • yeah wtf you always try to get out and try to help. Sitting in your truck filming when you know how to alley dock.. Thumbs down..

  • @sictoyz *sigh* another dumazz..

  • i train with a guy, he has his class A license in ontario and Quebec. thats right, the dude is in training coz he had tried to keep his driver job but couldnt hold them. we do backing every day as part of the program, live in the warehouse's yard while trucks are coming and going. the instructor tells him what to do but he would second guess him and do his own shit. you can imagine a 3minute supposedly backing takes him 12-15 minutes. me i can do it in 2-3 shots withing 3 minutes. my poin is...

  • @54321pokerface its not the trainer, instructor, the school are at fault when you see stupid drivers like this. its the individual driver who is a jerk, arrogant, knows it all kinda red neck. werner, schnider etc takes on a huge responsibility trying to make a man of such human material which is almost impossible. my codriver cant even back in one shot to couple the trailer..what can you do with such person?? train them? as long as they do not cause serious accident they should be out there. imo

  • @ruger2275 you are so stupid .. I asked what did u want me to do.. go show the trainer how it's done? and quit being a dumazz how about it?

  • I see stuff like this, and it always concerns me. Is it really that hard? I'm sure everyone will have moments like these, but what's the best way to avoid it? Was he to aggressive with the steering wheel? Could he have set up better? Or was he primarily just too worried about hitting something due to lack of experience?

    Thanks for posting!

  • I wanted to say 99.999% of all new drivers can only get on the road through shit companies like Werner, Covenant, Swift....etc. It is a shame they are taken advantage of and given crappy training. You laughing jackals are really the biggest joke on the road. Isn't is sad that back in the day we were considered "Knights of the Road"? You see a driver in trouble help him, not roll video and put it to the crappies music ever heard. Get off your ass and help!

  • @ruger2275 that's right dummy. I should have just gotten out of my truck, ran over there and kicked the trainers azz and made him look a fool. I didn't make fun of no-one in this video, just documented it. Go screw yourself.

  • Fuck all you wanna be "supertruckers" making fun of this driver. Pathetic that you would rather laugh your ass off then help a new driver out. You know he/she is out there to put food on the table just like your funky asses were in the beginning. You also know the only way in for 99.999% of new drivers are through shit companies like Werner. Y'all make me sick. Besides, even if this driver had 10 years plus under his belt he, just like any normal human, could be having a bad day. We all had em!

  • i've been out here for 10 years and i never make fun of the new guys who are learning. i actually give them a hand rather than sit back like an a-hole and beat them down...

  • It is funny when super truckers tease trainees. They think they were born instantly able to drive a truck. I ask these super truckers if they are doing anything to help new drivers comming into trucking. There answer ... No. You do know that without new drivers, the trucking industry will run out of drivers.

  • @oktomcat find one comment where I poked fun at this driver. You can't. All I did was film it. Have a nice day.

  • Comment removed

  • @keystrucker I am sorry. Those words you put on the film seemed a little sarcastic and seemed to poke fun at the driver. I am sorry if I miss understood the words. Have a nice day

  • easy supertrucker

  • i drives werner, do any werner driver seen a red freightliner thats leased to werner that says tamberly red express i liie that truck,

  • Better to be safe then srry

  • very unprofessional

  • yeah hey you guys im a driver and back well but some days it takes me awhile ,could be he had a bad day at the reciever or was tired,we all have bad backing days

  • We ALL Had to Learn , He was practicing doing it in 1 shot. Now give him a Spread axle to practice with. ha ha. Good Job getting it in that hole without hitting anything Driver.

  • Give the guy a break, he's probably a new driver. We were all new at one time. Drivers dont get respect from anyone, not even other drivers. Its sad

  • the biggest mistake i see new drivers make is sliding trailer tandems up thinking it makes it easier to get around this makes it almost impossible to back into a tight spot if i had a dollar for everytime ive seen someone take out a trailer or another truck because of this i wouldn't have to drive one

  • why the crappy music

  • This is the difference of when I started & now. When I started, drivers would either get out & help you or guide you back on their C.B. Now...They laugh at you, swear at you, threaten you,and make you even more nervous than you started out being.

  • Comment removed

  • and this guy has a cdl how?

  • The World Record is 57 pullups in 1 hour and 22 minutes by a Prime trainee! Witnessed by 6 OTR drivers, two yard dogs!

  • @dorslv yep..i am pretty sure thats a record lol...

  • the funny thing is thats how almost all werner drivers are how many werner trucks have you seen drivin into a parking spot rather than backed in

  • You think this is bad? I once saw a driver take about a half an hour to back into a dock on a side street in San Jose. His team driver was no better. I tried to help but they said they had it under control. The good part is along with the rest of traffic that was tied up, there was a taco wagon on the scene to provide me breakfast.

  • @MamboInferno haha, I used to live in San Jose...most of those taco wagons are well worth the wait

  • I was with werner for a whopping 10 days. Complete rookie at drivin a rig. I really liked my trainer, he was a cool guy. He did teach me alot. But he was so into saving his clock that I think I backed maybe three times in those ten days. Thats my peace.

  • i dont care what anyone says. this truckstop is pilot in atl,ga and it is a pain 2 get into.its so bad that bums stand around waiting 2 help u back in so they can ask 4 money.

  • Why does Werner give these new guys such a big truck? These Freightliners turn like a greyhound bus.

  • @bulldog0046 I scratched my head many a time over the 9 1/2 years I drove for Werner why they put student/trainer "teams" in Classics, Petes and W9's when we started getting KW's again...I got lucky, both my trainers drove Century Class tractors, but you want to talk about a hell of an adjustment when my first solo tractor was a 379 Pete...Grrrrr! Grew to love it and the other 6 Petes I was assigned while I was there...

  • @nowhereman841 I guess one way to look at it is, if you can drive a classic or a 379 pete you can drive about anything. I started out in a Freightliner FLD 120 had some trouble getting used to it. But did fine. When i got my Volvo It was a dream.

  • @bulldog0046 Very true, bulldog...I would still be on the road, but unfortunately I had to leave driving altogether due to kidney problems 2 yrs ago...but the lessons I learned in the cab I apply behind the wheel of my 4 wheeler and try to teach to my nephew...he's getting it...slowly...Well driver, I'm gonna call it a day...Keep the shiny side up, the bugs off the glass, the bears off your ass and especially take care of your health...They call me Weatherwatcher...3's to ya :)

  • The driver had lots of patience. first for all the impatient drivers squeezing by instead of blocking so he could finish and because his tandems were so far up. Patience is what's needed in this game and he has it. good job werner!

  • so do you just whip out the camera every times you see a Werner pull into the parking lot knowing something is bound to happen

  • I guess you were too busy filming to get off you ass and help this guy.

  • @stinkfist2010 yeah..i should have just gotten out and slapped the trainer out of the way huh? nice nickname STINKFIST LOL

  • @stinkfist2010 anyone who insults jim and jan can rot in hell

btw, everyone has to start somewhere, i dont see you out there on the highways risking you neck to keep north america moving.

  • @stinkfist2010 Everybody is new to the profession at one point. I applaud a guy that wants to get out and learn a new career and work for a living instead of sitting home and living off unemployment.

  • @stinkfist2010 yeah..i should have just went over there and punched out the trainer that was helping him and teaching him to back up right??? That would have given the trainee a great start in his career. Don't be a dumazz..

  • Are You Not Entertained, Are You Not Entertained! Is This Not Why You Are Here!

  • I was at a truck stop once and watched a driver pull up and 90 degree back a refer into a little hole without a single pull up. Afterward a little short lady got out of the drivers seat and walked to the truck stop. One word came to mind... Bitch! LOL

  • drive for 10-11 hours pull in to park for the day and it gets tough sometimes when you are tired i have had to pull up 20 times before lol part of learning we all start somewhere!

  • obviously a student learning the trade. i guess most of you were born behind the wheel and never had a hard time putting it in a hole... psstt... piss off.

  • ok guy how about you make a video of you backing up ?????anyways guy is probably new and that's a big truck for a biginer ...When you first started to drive a truck you knew everything right???

  • @R32LMedition If you see where I made fun of him please point it out to me. I just filmed how a beginner and a trainer put the truck in the hole.. :)

  • @keystrucker i don't think i'd like another trucker filming me and putting it on u tube...i think thats how your making fun of him...looks like you've got alot to f'king do!!!!

  • @maidenrulz73 i just filmed the event..if u watch it, fine..if not fine..i didn't say anything derogatory about him so myob thanks :)

  • @keystrucker i was minding my buisness when i stumbled across your vid that you filmed for the world to see....your welcome...

  • @keystrucker well at least he did not hit truck like the other werner driver in the other video LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 great vid though

  • What I love about all the smack talk from the professional drivers is there was some point in their lives where THEY THEMSELVES were in this same rookie situation!!

  • @Ps2Viper87 no smack talk from me. If they had you tube when I was a beginner I would have probably been on there too.. :)

  • @keystrucker Same here!

  • @keystrucker won't get any smack from me either. I hate to even think about when I was a rookie. Even now there are times I can get it first try and times I just want to give up.

  • easy solution=dont give rookies who cant handle them large cars.........stupid

  • I think you have your fellow man just trying his best at a tough job, congrats

  • i once watched a werner driver try to dock for 35 minutes, i walked out and offered to to it for him, long story short i got it first try and i had never even been in a rig before. we love to watching these d-bags at my shop.

  • fuck werner, bunch of ass holes

  • werner has some big bum ass`s wording for them

  • Watching him is like pulling teeth, but I'd rather he take all day than tear up someone's truck.

  • This isn't so bad, especially for a new driver...I've seen worse...ever see the guy who analyzes every move and takes the time to do so? This type of driver will stop and think for a good moment every time they have to change the direction the steering wheel is pointed.

  • that's not a "spotter".. that's the trainer. obviously a new driver then. cut him some slack. we all started out somewhere....

even the best of drivers have a bad backing day sometimes too. I have been so dead beat tired that I have run into difficulty backing. bottom line is - a good back = putting it where you intended without hitting anything. doesn't matter how long it takes...

  • I wonder how you looked your first time parking? Got any film of that? >:-(

  • crst is showing how its done

  • so what happend in the end i feel asleep about 2 minutes in2 the video dude was taking 2 long lol

  • @MrJakebrake37 I got no problem either. I would rather be patient so there day couldn't get any worse if their unit or someone else's unit got damaged because that could definitely ruin your day for sure. Take Care.

  • i may not have my cdl. but i have backed up a rig before... its not that fuckin hard werner!!!!

  • @MOOSEJVC easier said than done, backing between two trucks starting at a 90 degree angle is one of the hardest backs on a driver, especially new. Not only can it be technically difficult but there is also worry about hitting someones truck or trailer and knowing odds are they will witness it as it happens.

  • that was me a year ago haha ive definitely improved tho

  • We all have been there. When I first started I was backing into a spot and a truck pulled in from the other side and stole the spot, LOL. I was so pissed that I did not think of that first. We all learn by trial and error.

  • @SilverFox466 sounds like a seinfield episode. You should have been pissed that he pulled in, it's known parking edicate that you back into the hole, not pull through, and as such the person backing in has the right to the spot. :D

  • really funny and he his a bad truck driver

  • why help out it;s a dog eat dog trucking world out there! its more fun too make fun of other peoples misery then help out.

  • @diesel2991 yep..i should have gotten out and helped along with all the other people out there huh? Then the poor guy wouldn't know who to listen to. His trainer would have gotten mad at me and then there would have been a fight..etc etc..

  • @keystrucker and the fight would have lasted about 2seconds before ya'll where out of breath huh lol

  • This type of parking is the easiest thing you learn in trucking school!

  • damn thats my old truck lol

  • See it shows you how retarded truckers are, and that their pigs, dont shower and have no manner, oh yeah i forgot, lack respect for one another. I DO DRIVE A TRUCK TOO. WHAT A SHAME !!!

  • I worked from a week, week too long sat for trainer 3 days ad went I got one he slept, inthe passager seat went I drove.

  • Hey give the driver a break. He's obviously trying to be careful and not have an accident. If he has an accident you'd be complining how careless he is.

  • its a backin contest werner lost lol. but if noone is hurt and nothin damaged then both did fine. werner is probably new and i always hatted backin vans 2 so i dont blame him 4 goin slow. God bless

  • oh god crst and werner backing up at once, wounder if werner is watching crst backing in

  • you guys that talk shit about people backing up really aughta back my truck up 378 pete tri axle with 20 k front axle and a quad lowboy on the back and a 110k pound crane house on thats 12 wide

  • I think that Freightliner Classic was too much truck for him lol

  • I believe it would be safe say to say, that here on youtube I have seen every trucking company filmed, mocked and critized for how long it takes them to back a tractor/trailor. I don't care what company you are with or who you are as for a driver you have one point been new or prehaps been too slow for according to anothers standards.

  • it's normal a long nose truck dont turn easely... i respect that guy

  • Well it took him a while, but no trucks or trailers were crunched up. Slow and careful is better than fast and reckless. Although I think he couldn't have done it without his spotter.

  • Comment removed

  • stupid how people talk shit about swift, werner, england and crst, on backing... people back their own way. even I have trouble on rare occasions. but the company doesnt make the driver. I've seen smaller companies with drivers that shouldnt even be behind the wheel of a rig, and they have 20+ years of experience. hell I've worked for both werner and swift. no difference in management. plus these companies are more for newer drivers needing experience.

  • Of course CRST can back up faster since it is a smaller wheelbase!!

  • Looks like the Atlanta POS Pilot I hate that T/S

  • hahaha CRST is showing WERNER whos boss and teaching WERNER whos best at backing up the trucks in tight places hahaha

  • @Rthomas003 There is a big diff between learning the ropes and just plain not bein able to drive.

  • that kinda funny

but mayb he was a rookie give him credit ppl do have to learn 1 way or another...

  • Must have been a Werner instructor. LOL Pretty bad when a ratty cheese eating bunch like CRST makes you look bad. Should have just parked that load of Dollar General shit in the road and left the doors open. Made it easier for the wetbacks to get to. LOL!! Werner sucks the big bone.

  • i heard from one of keystruckers co-workers that keystrucker is gay.

  • shhhh....don't spread it around!!!!

  • keystrucker is a bitch
