i figured out the purpose of this video when seeing a pic of a scene from stiptease. stay asleep folks, do not wake up to the tyranny in this world. (sarcasm on)
Which part have you liked the most "I love myself"? As humans, yes.. inteligent beings. The way you said it though it almost hitted me with such an obviose arogance.
It is the literary style of the era. Back then, all orientalist literature was written in Farsi. Be it from Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan, or any neighbouring countries. All who considered themselves educated, learned to be proficient in farsi. Hence the misconception that poets like Rumi and Nizami represented Persia. In the way the did, but Nizami, while well versed in farsi, never left the boundaries of his beloved Gandja, and never even visited Persia. But Rumi traveled the Orient quite a bit...
@AzariBulbul .. "Idot", "moron"?? u must be so smart to know a person from 10 rows he wrote here. ... this is what you have learned from poets? to curse and be dissresspectful? yes, no wonder they are turning in th ground
@zuzabeluzaNo Sir. That I have not learnt from poets. However, what I have learnt from Rumi is the fact that confiscating human history, culture... in the name of race, language etc. is a crime not only against the Poet like Rumi but against humanity. Read the book of Rumi, " I am not from Persia, I am not from India.....I am not from Dust, nor from the Sky"
Do you know who wrote the lyrics of this album?? These words are from Molana ( Molavi, Rumi, جلالالدین محمد رومی ) and Iranian (Persian) poet lived in 13th century. Unfortunately, many countries like Turkey are trying to say the he was from their countries, they are just pretending. Rumi didn't write even a single word in turkish!! All of his books are in Farsi (Persrian) language. We, Iranian, respect him too much...
hi malakhhatzadik, "a gift of love" series is ecstatic. Very much appreciated. Could you please tell me some source where I can find those lyrics/poems.
The Love Poems of Rumi by Deepak Chopra (editor) available on Amazon or your local bookstore. Also The Soul of Rumi by Coleman Barks, The Forbidden Rumi by Nevit O. Ergin, Essential Rumi (Jalal al-Din Rumi), etc.
