we own a 65 mustang convertible k-code, i believe it was made in june of 1965, it's a dual exhaust and sounds real similar to this car, were there two different dual exhaust systems put on K codes in 1965? or were all K-codes in 1965 using the same dual exhaust?
Sorry, we thought we posted this reply months ago but I guess we messed up!
The "base" kit is $379. That includes aluminized steel exhaust pipes and over-axle pipes, 2 front and 2 rear resonator/mufflers, 2 turndown tips with steel clamps (everything after the H pipe).
The "Concours" kit is $499. It includes all of the same components as the Base kit PLUS the rectangular ballast tubes attached to the outside of the front resonators (like the originals) and correct Ford style clamps.
Someone tell me me were the hell you get one of these good sounding son of a bitches at, i want a set to put on my 66 stang with a 289 4 speed "factory". damn that system would be great on my car.

AWESOME!!!! I love the way that sounds. I'm a Mustang fanatic and had never known that those K-Codes had a system that made them sound like that. I really want one now!!!
The exhaust system sounds great!! I just read the article in Performance Business (Jan 09) and man you guys really deserving a round of applause. Great job!!!
I love this video, that sound is so cool , and the car looks fantastic.I have a 65 convertible in the same vitage burgandy, it was nice to see it glistening in the sun, something we dont get here in the uk.Nice Paul, Wales, UK
Wow guys that is low and rumbly. Makes that 289 sound a lot larger than it really is. Nice video and great sound reproduction. Gets crackly upon hard acceleration too.
We ship worldwide. You can order on our website or call 001.269.467.7185.

10/15/64 - 3/22/65. It was the stock exhaust system that was part of the "High Performance" option.
