But I thought the treatment you gave the video, and a lot of the visuals, really fit the song, like perfectly....especially the last shot, with Harry waking up in bed, with the grainy film effect over it?

Same goes for Twilight but yeah, Twilight is more ideal, but it's far from perfect, lots of problems, difficulties Bella and Edward have to get true to be together and to be happy and alive.... Lots of doubts also, again the question of good and evil, Edward believes himself to be evil, to have lost his soul and he's afraid he'll infect Bella with this, and Bella feels unsure about herself, she thinks she's too ordinary for Edward... all Cullens had their share of horror also...

But the possibilities aren't limitless, it's not because magic exists in Harry's world, he can just do anything with magic, there are rules, limits to what he can do, and there are lots of problems.. So saying it's nice to read becaue it's about an ideal world where anything's possible, is not entirely true, it's all about the constant battle between good and evil I think, also the good and the evil within a certain person, within Harry himself...

Have you read Eragon series and His Dark Materials series? That's fantasy too and I personally loooove those series!:-D I'm still reading Lotr now, that book keeps you reading for years lol! But it's awesome, I mean, it's a bit hard to get through those pages sometimes but the story is just so awesome, the whole world that's being created, all the creatures and their culture and of course the quest to destroy that ring and everything that goes along with it, the whole war... Awesome!:-D

I was a huge Harry Potter skeptic until I finally took the advice of people who told me "if you hate it so much, why don't you just read it?" So I sat down and read the books, and I'm hooked. They're excellent stories, in spite of their popularity. It's yet another case of something being popular *because* it's good. I've been careful not to make the same presumptuous statements about the Twilight series. I haven't read them or seen the movie, but respected friends of mine say they're good.

Its such a shame that I kind of hate Harry Potter because there is some really beautiful editing here that matches the mood. Any scene that has no identifiable faces actually! I love the spiral staircase and the ax coming down at the beginning. Keep it shadowy, shady and brooding...you don't need the actors (or at least their faces) in this. Its really quite decent!

and amandalittleamanda, if you havent heard the katatonia version you should check it out. you might think its METAL but its really just a slightly heavier version of the song, the vocals pretty much remain around the same area just the guitars distort at the choruses,etc.
