These are far healthier than american kids who play video games, have no respect for their GIFT of life....these children are learning the VALUE of life and not the USERS of life. Its about time american kids got back to work and learn how to make food....travel by working and making inventions, but alas the government wants them to remain dummied down, non creative and most of all...NOt appreciating the REAL value of LIFE
I feel just like the girl at the end of this clip. I hate it when my parents tell me to do a million things when I have like 3 projects due by the end of the week. They too say the same things to me just like what the girl's grandparents say to her.
@DannieNicole it is really not that simple but if you have any intertest in this you can watch "China Blue" and you'll maybe understand at least part of it... It's a documentary about those migrants back in the city.
We have it so good in the West, because this already happened here; about 150-250 years ago. What you're seeing is what our ancestors went through during the industrial revolution. "Early bird gets the worm". China chose to isolate itself and reject capitalism. Mao Zedong encouraged overpopulation. These people have nothing, because their ancestors gave them nothing. If you go to any big city in China, you will meet the same spoiled children we have in the West -China's next generation.
American education should be modeled after the Japanese, Chinese and Koreans. They should focus on school and not just going out with friends and going out friday nights to party and do drugs and alcohol. I beleive that if we are to ever catch up to asian countries, we should have high school students go to school from 8am to 5pm like asia then do after school sport from 6-8 and then study from 8:30pm to 12am. My cousins in korea do this and im in all 4 ap classes but i feel unchallenged
i feel so sad watching this. i live in ireland where parents spoil their kids rotten. i saw young kids throwing gifts (storybooks, colouring pencils) from christmas because they are 'boring' and demands expensive games. seeing these young kids taking care of their siblings put people here to shame. humble beginnings are the best for kids.
if you're planning to have children any time soon, then drop that idea...nowadays, having children is one of the biggest issues and responsibility of all, why?
7 billions humans on earth, surely there's a great lack of resources for humanity hence a factor that leads to poverty, crime, hunger, prostitution...etc...
Also, the fact that your kids are in danger because there are too many murders, rapists, molesters...etc..out there who can affect the upbringing of your children and their future.
i somehow feel better when thinking about the fact that some of these poor kids actually end up in the best universities all over the world... tons of these "success stories" from china just amazing how hard they work 0_0
@rahul87a Actually the kids in the city in china, sometimes parents send them like a week or a couple weeks in a village. I think Americans should try that every once a while, characteristics such as thrifty and hardworking can't be taught by the book.
@rahul87a I think everyone who is living in a third world country pretty much and living in the slums CANNOT afford to be spoiled brats or throw tantrums. Why? Because they will die. It is a hard life over there, and if you do not work for it, you will perish. There is no wellfare, often times friends and family is too poor to support you anyways so definitely it forces someone to grow up fast. In africa, I saw a documentary of this 11 year old boy who had five siblings to take care of himself
They have to, in order to support the children ironically. They do it so the children have a chance to go to school and do something more with their lives.
China have 1/5 the population of the whole world. Every one of the child left behiend in this world, 5 would be Chinese children. Should Chinese govt do better to help,Yes! how bout the oversea Chinese with money lined their wallets? ....China should have 5 times more gold medals, military spendings....5 time more Chinese wanted China to look bad in front of the West!! "Children Left Beheind" what have you done about it?...I mean helping the children.
I watched this at school lol

@aznboi1398
But that leaves no time for fun or even to eat, I agree American's need to step up there game but working all the time isn't right either.
DannieNicole 1 year ago
@DannieNicole Yes Americans do need to step up alot if they are to compete with CHina, Japan, and South Korea
It is true that South Korea's schedule is very rigorous but you have to remember, most kids do sports to relieve stress and have fun
usually school is 7:30am to 3 pm then from 3-5pm they would do sport programs or music programs
something they want to do so they can relieve stress and have fun
then comes the time to do homework
