Another example of a player who forgets that she plays music. Part of practicing is not only to achieve greater technique but also improve on musicality. She needs more feelings in her music playing. Listen to Barruecco and learn !!
In metal this is cool ( like malmsteen plays , body an facial expression ) but in classic music i think is out of place , although is an excelent performance

She plays it differently than JW --(its called interpretation). If she played exactly like JW she would be playing like a machine which is what Guitar Hero kids do. She is a breath of fresh air...I love her style and her stage presence. For once, we have someone who can deliver entertainment by expressing her passion as she plays...I love it
I just cant enjoy her music. It's such a nice subtle piece of music, and she attacks it like... I dont know. To me its like she's trying to hard, sometimes its better to let the music speak for itself.
I REALLY don't understand WHY she play every piece with rude energy, bha, virtuosism and nothing else, I usually don't post negative comments but I have to this time.
hey gemblunk666, you should check out john williams playing this, or even Li Jie; both play it much better. Just because this woman moves her head and eyes around, doesn't make her sound more expressive. I know John Williams is always painted as an unemotional robot. Actually, he has more expression in his little finger than most people in both hands combined. Including this decked out babe.
As one who has met her in person I can assure you her dress very much adds an exquisite overall effect on stage. Off stage and during masterclasses jeans and casuals are the norm..Do YOU know of any guitarists who play with facial masks on all the time to hide their expressions as I certainly don't save perhaps for masquerade..As far as the harmonics at 057are concerned maybe others will comment...Best regards Barbierossa.

Very novel and refreshing performance visually and musically.
A cross between modern day Hollywood and 19th century art music. Needless to say, Barrios' music is always mellifluous and nostalgic.
