I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The NWO was an attempt to give former WWE "celebrities" something to do in the WCW. Bischoff's first attempt was to make it a WWE invasion storyline, until Vince killed that with a lawsuit. The ONLY main-eventers in the NWO angle, were Hogan, Nash (Hall and Waltman by association only), Macho Man (by association to Hogan). The rest of the NWO guys were "curtain jerkers". Steiner became champ only after WCW had no to pass it to. Arquette KILLED it!!

He was bad, but there was a lot worse out there than him so i'll give him that. Just because he yells and uses cuss words doesn't make him good at promos. The good promos are about creativity, and he didn't really have any.

HHH isn't a bad wrestler, but his gimmick is laughable for someone who has been world champion so many times. Without his connections, he is another Scott Hall type. Good wrestler, but probably should have been World Champ maybe once or twice.

@Vlada985 - He became more popular when he got bigger in the late 90s. He was elevated to main event status and won world titles. Triple H has most likely used steroids too along with many other wrestlers so Steiner isn't the only one to use steroids. Yes HHH was a main eventer before he he started dating Stephaine, but he still used his power backstage to hold other wrestlers down like Booker T, Steiner, and others while always winning world titles.
