First of all, in the 60s we were not prepared for jungle warefare , we were testing out tactics we've never tried before.we were very limited yet we managed to kill over a million VC's. Plus the hippies over here were giving us hell to in the 60s. The Russians killed over a million Afghanistan people as well. THe Russian "loss" you speak of is closer to the loss we Americans had in Vietnam. All people in almost all countries are brainwashed to believe that thier country has the best military. I am one of the few Americans who did research via things NOT provided by the country who it was based on, and made my decision on who is the best (Russians)America is WAY too full of itself.
