This is a very slanted tourist video. We were in downtown Montego Bay about a month ago. It is a true third world shithole. There was trash along the road all the way to downtown and back. The water in the bay was brown, filthy and stunk. There was garbage everywhere you looked. The entire of downtown reeked of urine and feces. It was squalor. And you get hustled everytime you turn around. We will never go back again.

Americans, not just white people, usually use "jungle" interchangeably with "rain forest". Rain forests are different than forests in America because of the amount of rainfall they receive. American forests aren't nearly as lush as this.
@lilnikk2004 Woods is similar to a forest because of the under clearing access, whereas a Jungle is much dense with florage and rare plant species. Typically Jungles are found in more Tropical climate near the Equator. Most of Jamaica wooded areas are actually Jungles which create moisture from the heat, which are condense into clouds hence our heavy rainfalls and thunderous thunders etc. Next time you're in Jamaica look at the clouds hovering above the hills and wooded areas and you'll see!

Most of Jamaica wooded areas are actually Jungles which create moisture from the heat, which are condense into clouds hence our heavy rainfalls and thunderous thunders etc. Next time you're in Jamaica look at the clouds hovering above the hills and wooded areas and you'll see!
