Where can i Find My Records In Camstudio 2.5 beta?? After i Record A Video, There's a video came out, and that is my video...but there are no icon came out...just the video and the camstudio recorder...but the saving file thing didn't came out...Whats The Problem??Please Help...!!

techsmith is good codec but the fps 15-30, camstudio lossles codec is always 29-30.

@goofyguber7 You must have the auto pan feature set up in order for it to follow or else you have to drag the corners of the green square to move it. So go to Options -> Enable Autopan. You can also adjust the speed of which it pans right below that option.

@HDTutorialChannel This is camstudio not camtasia studio. I just use the camtasia studio codec with camstudio but I also find Xvid and DivX to be good as well.

Just watch the video with the follow up video on sony vegas and that will get you good looking video. Or you should be able to use divX as the codec to get a pretty good upload to youtube from the raw footage.

@shannonstv It should of taken you to a Techsmith website with a spot to put your e-mail. You should also see a download button bellow that. This will be a free trial only lasting 30days. You may want to use DivX or Xvid codecs if you don't wish to use the Techsmith one or are having issues with it.

I even set it to playback rate of 200 which i think is max n i divided by 1 so you get 0.005 so i put in 5 for capture frames every 5 millisecs. the codec for camtasia should be installed if you installed the program. If you can't get that one to work proper the DivX codec should also work just fine for this.

if u change ur capture frames per milisecond to 4 instead of 40 it will be much more smooth cuz its capturing images at a much faster rate and the playback rate i have mine set to 200 rather then 25 which again will playback at a much better and smoother rate, but ur codec is different then mine so that might be the best u can get with that codec

also with the plugin i have for camstudios u dont have to adjust framerates or set keyframes and i leave the quality at 70 and still get perfect resolution and clarity its a HD plugin for camstudio

not everyone has a big enough monitor for the 1280 x 720 setting to record with so what i recommend is using 640 x 360 that will give u the exact same video size just not as high quailty and u will still be able to make the video fit the entire youtube window. and 16:9 aspect ratio is a must for youtube :D

What's with that there's always fuzzy static in the video i record? That's not Hd - and how come u can't record audio from speakers?

Only the 2.5 version doesn't have it because it was a beta but the 2.0 version still has the speaker recording option. Also make sure you have a sound card that can record from the speakers. Also are you using all the same settings as me includeing the video codec? If it is only going fuzzy when you upload it to YouTube you need to watch my Sony Vegas video as said in the description or try recording an area that is 1280 by 720. Not sure though if that second option works.

r u stupid? I recorded with camstudio and edited with Sony Vegas 8. You asked what editor I used not screen recorder even though you can see it in the video. The small amount of blurriness is from blowing up the video from its original size to 1280 by 720 so that it gets the HD link.

from what I know....if it can it isn't very good but you could always use fraps if you have a lot of space on your computer or if you get the WeGame client thing it isn't the best for quality but it is free.

Camstudio is 100% free but Camtasia Studios isn't but all you should need is the trial installed once so that you have access to the codec in Camstudio. Make sure you use the links in the description because Camstudio took away there link to the 2.5 version.

about 17.40ish...if I boot into windows 7 it's only like 4 or 5 fps so it makes it impossible for me to start windows 7 tutorials on this computer because the video is just to laggy. Hopefully I can get a nicer computer in the near future :)

I am having problem with my sound. My 2 microphones are working but when I am using CamStudio 2.5 beta and Camstudio 2.0 my sound is skiping at some places. Hope someone can help

If you don't have a very good processor that could be the cause due to it not being able to process both the sound from your microphone's as well as Camstudio and whatever you are trying to record...I'm not entirely sure though if that is you issue. If you have dual or better it probable isn't but if you have a single it might be the culprit.
