  • GREAT, HONEST review!! I also made one of the 'Wet Jet' and you might want to watch MINE, before you buy one!! Yikes!! I think these dudes sound good in theory, and probably work well if you have only light stains on the flooring, but nothing more than stains. I'm looking for a good ceramic tile (grout cleaning) home machine--but after hearing your promotion on the 'Magic Eraser' well, I'll give THAT a whirl first! Thanks for the great video! Just ignore jerks sweetie...

  • im definitely watching the paid programming now and i knew it was a gimmick , but you also notice your hard would floor is not refinished so that will make it tougher

  • i was thinking of buying one, but you saved my money -- THANKS! :-)

  • I've only used mine on linoleum and absolutely love it. Other comments are right about having to prime it with a few pumps to get the steam flowing well. With that said, there are a few cons. It needs to come with more pad as they do become wet (and dirty) fairly quickly and itt needs a larger tank. My biggest con is that it doesn't feel sturdy and I've read of the handle breaking. I keep one hand on the shaft and the other on the handle to distribute the stress and haven't had a problem.

  • Yeah wished I saw this before I had bought one these things are shit. And they really fuck you right over Customer service is a joke.

  • Thisis the OLD version. I wonder how the new one does. They seem to have addressed some of these points.

  • thank you for sharing! from Canada.. xox

  • wow i was thinking of buying one today..im so happy i saw your review first

  • you guys seriously shes from RHODE ISLAND! thats enough to tell you whats going on in her simple brain.

  • thanks for the video.

  • thank you Lisa! You saved me! Greetings from belgium

  • @docemalagueta err.. for some weird season when you enter a message.. it went to me.. weird.. o_O..

  • wow thanks for this video but my question is did you try any other steam mop or what you do to clean your hardwood floor?

  • I gave it thumbs up cause she is hot.

  • Gotta say that I love my shark. First of all in this video, you never pumped the handle to get the steam going like you are supposed to. You were basically using it on a "low" setting. For the 60 bucks I paid for mine, its WELL worth not having to drap out a mop and bucket, as well as not having to buy a bunch of chemicals. Does it replace a hard thorough scrubbing? Heck no, but it IS worthwhile for every day cleanup. I have lineoleum tiles and I just love it.

  • @sparkisparkiboom I agree.

I've been using it for a couple of months, and I'm very happy with it.

You need to pump the shark so you have steam build up, after that, the normal motion of the shark will be enough to keep cleaning.

I replaced the swifer for the shark, and I wouldn't go back.

  • Bravo!! I heard it sucks. I have a small one bedroom. Ladies like you that show honesty in this type of product, make mothers like myself happy. When it comes to expensive decision making. Yes we want something magical to clean our floors and are willing to pay the price. But not get ripped off. Thank you so much for this video.

  • thankyou SO much i was going to get it. thankyou thankyou.xoxoxo

  • thank u so much for your review. I hate false advertising too. Us busy women need to find products that work fast and great. Really thanks, i was just about to order it youre really helping people around the WORLD :)

  • Lol i had an easier time getting crayon off with the mr. clean magic eraser thing. Oh and by the way... all you need is water for those too. I hate chemicals so i was thinking about getting either this product or the portable steam pocket from them but i want to know if it works as well as said.

  • yep this thing is useless i agree

  • you look like an idiot you are an idiot and you were wasting your time

you should spend some time at a beauty salon

also get on your hands and knee and start working rather then peeling the shark company...

  • hi i just bought mine from kmart and i was so hesitant to use it after the assembling i plugged it in and waited the 30 second no steam was coming from the mop period you could hear it but no steam like you see from the informerciali honestly won t reccomend it

  • Here's a pro tip for anyone watch these videos. If you have the little soccer ball icon near the video quality setting...press it. For the love of god. I'd rather listen to Vuvuzelas then this lady bitch and moan for 8 mins.

It's one thing to be "Unbiased"...but your review was anything but. You clearly let your emotions taint the ENTIRE video. Video should be called, The Catty Woman show. Do us all a favor, and stop posting this crap.

  • i bought shark flip steamer 3 months ago it is broke, no english person and they wont transfer you, i have to pay for them to fix it, ship it and for them to ship it back. their customer service sucks. trying to buy a new steamer anyone one got advice.

    under 100 high temp

  • You are sexy

  • It is if you pump it 10-30 times before you use it like the DIRECTIONS SAY.

  • Thanks for the very useful information on this product! I was thinking about buying it but I think maybe not after watching you go over that crayon mark over and over again. I am glad someone took the time to test these products to save everyone else some money! Thanks!

  • Thanks for your review, it helped me to see the product in action. I will not be purchasing since I already have a steam mop. Was thinking this might work better, but I don't think it will. Thanks again!

  • Thanks you so much for reviewing this product. I was about to buy that product today, but after seeing your review, I'll pass.

  • Its not a Shark..its a Tadpole..priceless.I dont know why people are saying this thing works, when I saw you go over that Crayon MORE than a few times. Thanks for saving me money!

  • thank you for this review! I was checkin reviews before I bought one but most of the reviews I have read and seen, everybody thinks that it is a piece of garbage!

  • Hey you should stop bangging about yig houserrrr fancy big home with all your fancy hard wood floors, I own a Shark and I have a 12 x 10 room and the water is still in the dang tank going on 3 freeking years and I use it every day and I also press my husbands overalls with the same steam mop, you all need to get a life and besides yr a freeking blond so that must be your GD problem.

  • very good. thank you

  • man!!! i wish i had seen this before we bought one!!!! it totally sux!!!!! it dosent really clean anything >:(

  • Thanks for the comment,! If it were $30.00 it would be acceptable, but for that price, still, it isnt worth what it claims....

  • I just purchased one and it works great on all types of floors. It's not true that you have push hard just to get the steam started, it specifically said steam starts in 30 seconds. Then when you start to mop and it's hard to push, press down on the handle and the steam will start coming out instantly, once you have done that you will be able to mop with ease :).

  • It is your opinion, sure. I guess the negative comments about your video are not because of your opinion per se, but because of the "manner" you expressed it. Mocking the representative's accent , and adding sarcastic remarks about the product takes your credibility away -- that makes your "review" emotional, rather than impartial.

  • thanks sarralucia... it wasn't necessarily mocking... I also work in a call center.. was simply adding a little comedy about my experience (which was true), Let's stick to the point, the Shark doesn't meet expectations... buy it, try it, and write back.

  • @lisari007 your a fucken bitch i can take this in one second you are a weaky ass women showwing your faceeeeee on youtube why you stupid this thing is awsome people stop humilating steam mops i bet the people who are commenting bad i bet they dont even have one go block me witchyyy bitchhy basterd

  • the new ones better but still not as good as the origenal

  • Thanks for the review, you saved me money.

  • Thanks, I was thinking of buying this for cleaning grout. You saved me some money.

  • I don't think I l would take her review into consideration because I was offended by the "southern accent" from the first video describing the customer service. Was that really necessary?

  • Thank you because my mom was planning on buying this. The infomercials make it look so great.

  • lol its not a shark but more of a tadpole!! lmao niice. your hott!

  • DannyB819, thanks for responding, especially from someone that posts vids of dogs humping, and Gisele.....

    wow, Priceless......!!!!!

  • @DannyB819

you tell her danny cause she certainly is a crying idiot that feels like complaining

  • awe, thanks!! going through a divorce now, and I soo want to pick the vid camera up again to give my opinion on numerous things.. thanks for being kind!!

  • You are darling!

  • i love my shark its the newer one and i love it i have groves in my kitchen and it did take the dirt out of them so yes it does work maybe not the older one but the new one is great

  • You may be right... trial and error leads to great products.

  • Thanks! Needed to see this video so I didnt waste my money.

  • I admit I have the 2nd generation one and have not tried the first generation one. You need to pump it to make the steam come out! I have tile floors and terrazzo. It works great ! I do not have to fill buckets of mop water every 5 minutes. You wait 20 seconds for the water to steam PUMP IT a couple times ...till it sounds like an espresso machine. Then you mop! I do not use pine sol etc. in it but I will use it on the mop pads themselves. better than scooba and roomba I own both as well

  • I love your voice. very informative thank you!

  • omg this lady is sooo weird she has he stupidest videos

    hey lady check your comments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ur lazy bitch pump the dame thing.

  • You need to pump it faster you fuck tart meth head

  • Glad I found this video! I was really looking into buying this! Thanks for saving me money. The new infomerical is 4 payments of $29.99.

  • Keep in mind its just a mop.

  • not a lot of steam coming out!!!

  • Thanks for the post... that's why I really don't spend time reading the posts cause many just write negative comments cause they can... it's MY opinion, and the person viewing it can analyze for what it's worth, then make an informed decision..

  • Don't worry about being called a 'complainer' it's people like you who let us know how much these companies rip people off. The person calling you a bitch and a complainer probably works for the company and had to resort to personal comments to get his point across always a sign of a person who makes their living selling crap. it's nice we have you to tell us the truth.

  • Did they pay you back as they said they would?

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you so much for your video. I was going to buy one but you show that it doesn't works very well.

  • i love your honesty!

  • Mine snapped in half after 5 uses. I am a 125lb woman. Flimsy piece of junk. Buy the Bissel instead.

  • I was going to buy one of these, in fact, almost stopped at BB&B today, but did some research and 98% say the product sucks. Your video convinced me, thanks, you saved me 100 bucks.

  • actually mine does a very good job i paid 85.oo thhat was with tax so it is good mop the floor with a regular mop then after its dry go over youll see the dirt so mine came with a steam bottle so id go buy 1 if i was you

  • I am sure that if gyms started using the Shark Steam Mop or even the Hann steam mop which is a bit more industrial that it would benefit the general cleanliness esp if used in the locker room, bathroom, showers, pool side, or even in the steam room where athletes foot germs can breed causing plantar warts... and trust me I already had mine removed it was painful to say the least... so if it could be prevented the better off every one could be

  • Thank You for your review lisari, now i know not to get one for my parents. We have unsealed floors (natural wood) and I can already say that it probably wouldnt work on our floors.

  • I am sorry to tell you but on the shark website it actually states not to use on unsealed hardwood floors. Maybe thats your problem.

  • Thanks for the comment. However, my hardwoods are sealed (plenty of Polyurothane)

  • I am not sure how how anyone would expect a pad that barely can get down to the grout is going to clean it. This is supposed to replace traditional mopping or wet swiffers.

Do you use a mop and bucket of water to clean grout? Of course not.

My use shows it easily picks up general messes like muddy footprints or spills.

It takes a good 5-7 cleanings if you have a lot of built up grime. You will know you do if you wash your floor, the pad is dirty, but the floor looks hazy.

  • thank you for the vid. it looks too small and i dont want to keep having to refill it. other steam mops you dont have to pump

  • Thank you so much for doing the review. I will not waste my time on the product.

  • I bought one today and I like it. The floor was not at all sticky when I was done cleaning the floor like it is with the Swiffer mop. I feel very good about it and I am glad I bought it. I put a little more elbow grease into the cleaning than this lady did. I pumped the handle more times and that made it glide easier. It got up ground in food. I feel like I can save myself money by not having pros come out to clean my floors every so often to get them really clean. Thumbs up on this prod.

  • Corking. Sometime in the future, all products should be reviewed this way

  • well I'm glad that there was the 2nd video, the first was sorta pointless. Thanks for the review.

  • I have a steam mop. You are suppose to pump it several times. Also, you don't go that slow when you use a regular mop, so why would go so slow with the steam mop.

As far as the small resevoir, I would think it would be more difficult to fill a pale several times (once to wash and 2 to rinse).

Also, remember you are not using chemscals.

If you use your regular mop the same way you use the steam mop, your floors wouldn't get clean eithr

  • thx for ur review. i feel the exact same way about this crappy piece of junk theyre selling. a few days before christmas i really didnt feel like getting down on my hands & knees to clean this horrible linoleum we have. i love my hoover floormate but thought this was worth it. its going back to walmart quicker than u can say horse crap. i agree sister! amen! people out there DONT BUY THIS SHARK STEAM MOP! ULL BE VERY SORRY! this isnt too bad on recent spins but not older dirt. BOOOO THUMBS DOWN!

  • Mine I bought picked up dirt from a floor mopped 3 days earlyer so i like it

  • I agree with atvizory2000. You're supposed to pump it several times to get the steam started before you start pushing it across the floor. I own one and have been very pleased with it.

  • nice vid, bad hair ,it makes you look scary.

  • during the winter it snows here and i can't use a mop beacuse the water starts turning into ice and even with a fire going it's still 25° and i tryed the swiffer thing it left it very sticky and i did not like that i have no kids well i do but there all grown up it's jest me and my wife anyway would you suggest this product i have dark brown till floors and black grout

  • Mr Frogbot... currently the shark steam mop is now being sold in big chain stores, i.e. Target, Walmart.

Your best bet would be to buy it from one of these stores, where you don't have to endure the hassle of buying it on line (like me)

So, if you are not happy with the performance, you can simply take it back to the store for refund. Again, if it was being sold for $50.00 or less, I probably would have kept it. But NOT WORTH $90.00

  • Interesting. If anybody has doubts I recommend that you wait a little while (usualy 2 months) and buy them at Target or other stores (ignore the NOT AVAILABLE IN ANY STORE sign) if it doesn't work you can return it with less hassle, but at least you'll see for yourself. But this was very informative.

  • Thank you for this video I was looking on the web to buy this steam mop. Hope you continue reviewing stuff!! Very helpful :) xxx

  • this was REALLY helpful!! Thank you so much, you just saved me $70 (they're selling them at costco).

  • i think your suppose to pump it first then glide
