  • Better idea about Russain women gettop5.info

  • WOW!!! Who is this newscaster? She is georgeous!!

  • the first hung parliament in decades and what joke this government is already david cameron needs shooting in the head maragret thatcher in in david cameron clothes

  • 'To decide once every few years which members of the ruling class is to repress and crush the people through parliament--this is the real essence of bourgeois parliamentarism, not only in parliamentary- constitutional monarchies, but also in the most democratic republics.'

Vladimir Lenin, "The State and Revolution" (1918)

  • Do you want a new change? Are you sick of the credit crunch and other things? well vote for British Public Party on facebook. And have your say.

  • youll be made to suffer go london shhithole

  • @VChapaev How so?

  • Boy doesn't know what conservative with a small 'c' means!

  • Boy doesn't know what conservative with a small 'c' means!

  • David Cameron is PM

thanks to everyone who voted for Conservative party.

  • I voted for the Tories I think we have had enough of Labour now! David Cameron should be PM.

  • @eastenderfan90s

It's looking strongly like the Tories are there mate.

    Hail Cameron!

  • why not think out of the box..Why not Conservative + Labour government ?

  • @mkworld87 Conservatives are posh tooshes no one wants those creatures in power !

    Regards Merlin !

  • @MrTom235863 oh..I see. thanks for your reply.

  • @MrTom235863 Except the 36.5% of Britain that voted for them, you mean? That's more than want any of the other parties btw.

  • @mkworld87 Because Labour would wish to design legislation for working class people & Conservatives would wish to pass legislation for wealthier people. I belive a Labour New Dem coalition with Green Partyy and Plaid Cymru might work if the numbers are right.Aled

  • @ifuliki thanks for your reply and information

  • @ifuliki

lol so you think a rainbow coalition...where national parties like SNP/PC will be demainding that any cuts are just in England will work? We in England cannot vote for parties like PC/SNP so we will be damned if we are going to let them govern us! England is mainly Tory...A) it's not fair to have Scottish nationalist parties running our country and B) that would again mean another unelected PM!

  • @29Gixxer Do you think that the few Plaid cymru votes and those Scottish Nationalists should be disenfranchised. They are after all British citizens.

Any legislation by the Westminster would apply nationally. I was always a Liberal

and I know that most citizens vote for parties to the left of the Tory party. Take a look at the voting totals. Most Brits are NOT on the right politically. TAKE A LOOK MY FRIEND. HItler disenfranchised the Jews

    Aled

  • @ifuliki

They maybe British but why should a mainly Tory England be governed by a party that we cannot vote for? Also, if the rainbow coaltion had of gone ahead we would again be in a situation where the leader was not elected! If you think a coalition between CP/SNP/Labour and Lib is going to be a stable one then you are deluded my friend :)

  • @ifuliki This is an automated message: Due to invoking the Rite of Hitler Comparison you have lost all credibility in any argument you may have been having.

  • @29Gixxer I rest my case. BTW I am a Brit living abroad currently and was educated in the UK and DO understand the system and the politics.

    Aled

  • @29Gixxer Scotland is part of our country...

  • @3wsgabav3

They don't seem to think so lol. All we hear is their bitching about wishing to be independant whilst trying to get more money with us having to cut back. I'd rather keep a united UK but it's not us you need to convince mate...it's the Scots :)

  • @29Gixxer The independence lot are the noisiest bunch so tend to get heard more since maintaining the status quo is not particularly news worthy in any context. It's a short-sighted populist idea that plays well in polemical speeches and nothing more. The majority of Scottish people would not vote for independence. The SNP is to the left of Labour and is predominantly elected on that basis and as such are pro-public spending and so demand as much of it as possible from Westminster.

  • @29Gixxer The lib dems are as far to the right as the popular vote can go in Scotland given the lingering mistrust of the Conservatives following Thatchers ill-advised poll-tax trial and no one likes UKIP (eww). I'm a Scot btw.

  • @3wsgabav3

I see. Thatcher wanted to modrenize the economy which which woulf of inevitably led to pain in rural England & Scotland so I can understand the mistrust there. SNP, CP and others have said they wish to get rid of our nukes and keep their fingers crossed that we are not attacked lol. I see us as brothers..united in times of economical uncertainty although that Alex Sammond just gets up my nose...soz mate.

  • @29Gixxer don't be sorry, he's a slimy wanker

  • @3wsgabav3

Yeah to be fair....there is another wanker I hate even more though...Galloway! How some people can't see right through that guy is just beyond me. He maybe Scotish although his supporters are (were lol) from East London and they are even worse than him because they must be as retarded as Fred lol. It was funny watching him make the US senate cringe though :)

  • @mkworld87 Because the reason that's not in the box is that their ideologies and principles are directly opposed on night every issue being voted on?

  • Its real sad to see the Native Brits sink under the wave of north africa. I can only hope that the rest of Europe continues its march to the right because you Brit voters are almost as bad as American voters.

  • Why should we have a government in which the two loser parties rule and the leader was not elected?

  • It seems we are going to have a Labour government again - mainly because of Scottish vote! It's time England took back control of its own country.

I have a video on my YouTube site about how I feel about Brown and Labour clinging to power.

  • NWO thats why

    Resist The New World Order

  • I love how the man-on-the-street interviews are all Lib Dem despite the Lib Dems being the smallest major party with 20% of the vote

  • @3wsgabav3 the cons only got 36% of the vote.

  • @doford Nople !

  • @doford what's your point?

  • @3wsgabav3 New Dems often do not vote their beliefs because they opine that the party under the present system could not form a government.

    =Alec

  • @ifuliki nor under any system given they're the smallest of the 3 main parties because the majority of the country does not align with them, nor are they the largest party in half the constituencies of our country. You would have more power and labour less in a PR based system with the tories maybe going down slightly but you would by no means be able to form a government. The idea that electoral reform would make clegg PM is erroneous.

  • @3wsgabav3

Wrong again, friend. Under a system of PR Liberal votes would not be bled into either of the other two parties. Just look at the continent of Europe where most every country has a PR system there are over 20 9TWENTY!!!) coalition governments.

    I rest my case

    Aled

  • Their votes aren't bled into any other party, I assume you mean that they don't always win a greater share of the vote than the other parties in the constituencies where there are people voting for them. We have a coalition government with the Lib Dems as the junior member in accordance with their not being afforded much power by the voters of this country s the case would be under any electoral system. How can you rest your case on an irrelevant suggestion?

  • i love how the exact same kind of shit is going down here in america

  • Theres nothing the Tories or anyone can do to stop the disaster thats gonna happen, the damage has been done already, gordon Dung has spent too much & borrowed too much, all hes done is masked our problems with deficit spending.

Its production that makes us rich & unemployment hasnt been as bad in 60 years!

Its like a shop owner whos been makin 50g a year, see business shrink to 20g so he decides to "stimulate" his business by paying people on the street to shop in his store of his credit card!

  • We need Thailand type of strike to bring a revolution- that is to get rid of the corrupted parliament system...hehe!

The main problem with Brits is that the many pubs (owned by conservative: Thatcher) are their to asphyxiate the brits'.mind? A alcohol addicted society is useless to bring any change.

  • @seyoumeye Please make the slightest effort to find out what the situation is in Thailand and why Thaksin Shinawatra was ousted in the first place before you suggest we try to get enough people to support us in the occupation of Canary Wharf. I wasn't aware Thatcher was a pub mogul, or is it more of a jab at individual ownership and all that crazy selfishness?

  • @3wsgabav3 I know Thaksin is not be the right person to bring any change, nevertheless, the Red shirts cause is justifiable. All around the world politics is getting exposed because of its corrupted democracy system.

Politics shape society not vice versa; (remember how socially construct is the individual behaviour!

The laughable UK's election is the results of psychopathic society where they find a refuge in pubs (get drunk) for social networking...haha! Soon u'll starve to death...

  • unbelievable so many people voted for nick cleg as they did not want brown but no way wanting a tory government if clegg goes with the tories its the end of his party. call a new election watch the voters return to labour when brown leaves. lib dems are finished if the jump into bed with tories total opposite values . money and power seems to be ruling again over fairness .

  • If? an Anti Immigrant Govnt comes in power-After Greece Disaster, the Upcomng will be the Britons-If there is a economic disaster in Briton..it? will not stop with a normal loss. That will continue with the rise of Separatist movement from Scotland, Norther Ireland & the Wales.IMMIGRANTS are keeping the UK united. If the IMMIGRANTS leave-there will be no more Unity. I CAN ASSURE-THIS WILL HAPPEN. But I knw in UK there no Govt will be an anti Immigrant. The BBC's-abt IMMIGRANTS is a Bad conclusion

  • @jack999rocks This is the real reason why no Intellectual of UK & who knows the real consequences tht will happen - will never oppose the Immigrants.? Be an Open minded and think a while. Be not a Bigots. Respect the Immigrants as your helping Friend.I dont say to welcome a lot of People - But respect who are working over there away from their Home country.

  • UK is going to have a Political and Unity crisis...! it could lead to the division of the Country into North and the south...off course the north is the Scotland. and the south England.

  • If in USA there has not been change even though "change" won do you think it will be any different in england? It's a rigged game playing the promise game and the people keep believing it only to lose yet again.. When will people learn?

  • the guy at 1:10 is bang on.

  • Great. Yet another right wing European victory to goose step with the Poles and the Hungarians. Expect the usual anti-Semitic and homophobic agenda.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger

What so.. as soon as you cross the line from centre to right wing then you are suddenly anti-semite and a homophobe? What an ignorant suggestion. I'm conservative for policies on the economy, health, education and immigration but that doesn't make me either homophobic or in any way racist.

  • @BricksWillBeShat Have a good look at Hungary and its politics. Hungary is another European state like England. The right wing government there was elected based on a platform of that usual right wing anti-Semitism, anti-Roma, homophobic platform. Can you not see that the whole of Europe is turning to the right. I'm not saying every Consverative or for that matter, every Pole or Hungarian is like that - but plenty are. I think you know it too.

  • We should hang the parliament

  • If Herr Hameron can make a deal with Herr Cloebells of the LibDems, then there will be a new Nazi government in der Britische Isles, the first since Frau Thatchler.

  • Minority Governments work better, they have to perform or be booted at any time! Canada's economic strenght compared to the rest of the G8 proves that. First thing labour should do is boot HARRIET Harman for her ridiculous Page 3 girl ban idea during the election. Liberal Democrats should boot Lynne Featherstone too. Wake up folks! people are concerned about Jobs and the economy

  • perfect result shows the crooked parties didnt deserve overall power now work together and make this country as strong as other coilition run countries

up yours flip flop cameron you never won you will never be trusted to run this country alone you are too slimey

  • what a mess.

  • The UK has some Choice & a Democracy unlike America (USA has NO CHOICE, NO 3rd PARTIES & NO DEMOCRACY)

    Labour (Big-Government, Corporate-Whore, War-Addicted, Israel-Slave, NEOCON Fascist Party)

    Conservatives (White-Gov, Corporate-Whore, Israel-Slave, Xenophobic, Mild-Neocon Party)

Liberal Dems (Socially Liberal, Moderate, Fiscally Conservative, Mid-Sized Gov, Pragmatic Common-Sense Party)

    USA has 1 party

Dems = GOP (BigGov, Corporate-Whore, War-Addicted, Israel-Slave, NEOCON Fascist Party)

  • The first past the post system is in the UK to avoid this happening year on year. The conservatives dont want PR because it would allow smaller parties to punch above their weight year on year (i don't mean libs in this instance, but imagine that a party was 2 or 3 short) and because we would, in effect, have a hung parliament every year. Labour didn't want it either, until they thought they might cling on to power offering it to the libs. A Lab lib + whoever coalition would be a travesty!

  • with this hung parliament when will we get to vote again? if so does it have to be one of the main three?

  • God what does it take to get rid of the boil in no 10 !!! You loose but still win what the fuck is that

  • Funny thing is I'm a labour supporter who voted LibDem for Stalemate,

The alternative is CONservative who hold the largest minority of the vote, The rest of us want change...

  • Speak up here...

    /watch?v=MqlTJ8OLE9A&feature=channel

  • Nick Clegg is in a corner.

He can't side with Labour because they got so little support & even if he does, they still won't have a majority. Plus if they ever want to be elected, the public won't forget the LibDems sided with a party that the public didn't vote for.

Their only options are coalition with the Tories because they have the biggest mandate or agree that the Tories can form a minority government.

  • Labour are "Conservatives" with a small c? They all have capital C, for Cunts!

  • If Clegg has a brain, then he must throw in with Labour to get electoral reform passed asap before any coalition gvt fails and new elections are held (within 12 months).

Even if he is unpopular, his party will double their seats and have even more power - good for UK politics.

He will never do this by throwing in with Cameron.

Look to the big picture ....

  • Cleggs a dickhead

  • for all those people who get their constitutional info from "the sun". gordon brown is not squatting. no other party can form a gov't. the incumbent PM stays until a deal is sorted. if he resigned now, there would be no gov't at all here. come monday morning and the opening of the markets, you could all watch your holidays abroad disappear over the horizon. boring, i know but that's how it works.

  • Alex Jones: The republic is falling! check this out and see whats around the corner.

  • i'm from canada.... looks like you guys are in the exact same boat as us now - conservative minority, liberal party with a little less, and third place left wackos. we've had this government for about 4 years and it doesn't look like anything's about to change soon

  • The two party song and dance.... all smoke and mirrors , all controlled by The Jewish Banking Mafia !!! VOTE BNP YOU WEAK MINDED TWATS !!!

  • @WhereEaglesDareWWII

I question whether the BNP is sophisticated enough to take on the Khazarian banking mafia. They only seem to talk about immigration.

Then again, they've had the Rothschild dynasty for hundreds of years, so perhaps Brits have grown accustomed to the slavery.

  • @WhereEaglesDareWWII ever thought it might be you who's "weak minded". the world involves infinitely more issues than what your single issue party is interested in. no-one likes the bnp. period.

  • @WhereEaglesDareWWII F**K OFF! ...... = ))

  • It doesn't sound right but the LibDems have to side with the tories. The two parties have alot in common in terms of polices. If he sided with Labour Nick still wouldn't have a majority. Sure you could ask a few other parties to chip in their seats but then we have this convoluted coalition.

Nick is not selling out, he is securing a firmer ground with which to put forth PR in the future. The Libs and cons are compatible, but PR needs to take a backseat until the country is stable.

  • another futile charade.. at least it provides media centres with pop hollow content for a couple weeks..

  • i like penguins

  • What demographic does Russia today cater for, the English speaking part of Russia I've never herd of?

  • @ajuk1 No,they cater to the English speaking Russians in the US. I believe their offices are in Washington DC that's why sometimes there are black reporters lol that was my first clue.

  • COME ON EVERYONE! VOTE FOR LABOUR!

  • @branbboss

Nu Labour is dead. No one wants your unelected chipmunk Gordon anymore. Tell him to stop squatting 10 Downing

  • @branbboss what the benefit cadgers party millions of immigrants robbing

all tax payers money grafted for in all weathers

you want peeing on u tosser

  • Unless you live in the UK you don't know what happened and why some many people couldn't vote but there where hundreds who couldn't vote cause the polling stations couldn't handle the amount wanting to vote

  • It would be better if only those making house payments, say for at least five years were allowed to vote instead of allowing the scum of the Earth flowing into the Country being able to prop up whatever political party will give them the most handouts.

Everything else is only politically correct bull shit.

  • @SuperCulloden

exactly. If you let mooching scum into the country then elect a party that supports them, it only provides the impetus to keep allowing more in to prop up power

  • why are there so may die hard labour supporters, gordon brown could take a shit on their door step and they will still vote labour. OPEN YOUR FUKING EYES PEOPLE

  • more voters voted for a non con government and nick clegg is selling his soul to the crooked con party what a con he wont get any seats if he sells out true values to thease wealthy toffs

  • Talk is just training for eat carots. (she look nicer with perls and gold) lalala

  • I just want Labour to pack their bags and fuck off!

  • @ToonandBBfan

i just want you to pack your bags and fuck off !

  • @barney906

Up yours mate, I'm not going anywhere!

Gordon Brown = unelected PM that nobody wants

  • @barney906 Alert the bailiffs we have squatters in situ at 10 downing street--- 2 MILLION EXTRA VOTERS VOTED FOR THE TORIES THAN VOTED FOR DUMB FUCKS LABOUR, ME THINKS DUMB FUCK BARNEY SHOULD FUCK RIGHT OFF YOU LEFTIE BIGOT!

  • @meterreadergoldersgr ...Calm down meter reading man, get some counselling or grow up. Your posh boys did n't exactly get a mandate did they?????, how many voted against the TORIES ?????, despite having the majority of press behind them and Cashcrofts millions, it was a pretty pathetic result for them as well.

    Take off your blinkers !

  • @barney906 How many millions more voted against the loony labour party???? Cameron got the most votes to govern - 10.2 Million to Browns 8.2 Million--you lefties bang on about 'democracy' only when it suits you---wheres your so called democracy no? Labour=Corruption (and at every election thers always a dodgy Labour MP fiddling postal votes..)

  • @ToonandBBfan why don't you just pack your bags and FUCK OFF!!!

  • @scotland638

No thanks son, I've got what I wanted, Gordon Broon and Labour are out.

Dont take the hump just because no one in Scotland (with the sole exception of Dumfires I think) wanted the Tories back.

  • @ToonandBBfan why should i take the hump ? i'm glad the tories got fcked in Scotland yet again, only pity is we are not a tory free zone.Enjoy your coalition, still better than a tory majority i suppose.

  • @scotland638

Doest matter if the Tories did get fucked North of the Border, it just means they will shaft you left right and center because they dont have your vote anyway

  • @ToonandBBfan I hope so,makes the case for independence so much easier.ALBA GU BRATH!!!

  • How can no one win ?

If you took a room full of 100 people and 98 people voted to KFC, the vote would mean they are going to KFC. Just because their are some people who don't want to go to KFC doesn't mean that those who do can't get what they voted for!?

What the fuck is a Hung Parliament?

  • @Fight4Privacy no overall control. you american?

  • Bring back the monarchy as ruler of the country, not these over paid, thieving stupid idiots who run us now! When we were ruled by a king and queen we were respected, now we're a laughing stock because that scottish twat. Which brings me to another point, why the hell were Scotland and Wales voting? didnt we give them their own parliments? Do the English have a say in them? no we dont, so butt out Celts ok!

  • If you look at the election map of England on the BBC. Tory's won by far but due to political loop hole labour has got quite a high count. If you did a proper election and counted every ones vote fairly then Tory would hav 90% of the votes.

  • @Guncriminal...Thank You ! I needed to laugh today....I feel much better now.

  • Politicians and politics in general are a form of deception and a hold on the people in the belief that there is democracy in the country. Because you're given a choice to pick the right politician which you think is going to provide you with everything but unfortunately this is far from the truth. These politicians are not there for you or anyone else for that matter, except those above government which control central government. Thus making democracy an illusion only to fool the masses.

  • if this were to happen in pakistan or indonesia, other western countries will say that this vote is invalid n its a insult in demoCRAZY...

  • I think this hung parliment should be settled over a 3 way game of rock, paper, scissors :)

  • Election is a joke. Lib Dems get 23% of peoples votes but only 57 seats? Come on, it's about time democracy represented every person in the country, not just some of the people whilst everyone elses opinion means nothing. The electoral system needs to change!

  • Election is a joke. Lib Dems get 23% of peoples votes but only 57 seats? Come on, it's about time democracy represented every person in the country, not just some of the people whilst everyone elses opinion means nothing. The electoral system needs to change!

  • We have a hung parliament in Great Britain, (An American re-run of the Bush Gore fiasco), Spain is going down the same economic road as Greece (Spain's economy is 5 times larger than Greece), there will be a continuation of economic disaster until the New World Order finds a solution- One currency for the world. The technology is already in place for the cashless society. Problem -solution,cause and effect, Order out of Chaos.

  • As long as the central bank system is in play (Fiat Currency) No value in the money system. (Deliberate subversion of society) - "Clockwork Orange"

You will continue to see western society degrade until you become worm meat.

No sound money, no civilization, ENDGAME

Fiat money has built in coercion - human beings only care about themselves not overall society. Sound money keeps the playing field even.

US Dollar - Funny Money - illegal since 1971

  • *sigh* left or right it doesnt matter - its the same old cronies time and time again being put up in front of the un-supecting sheep to give the illusion there is actually a choice... meanwhile, the same old unseen leaders will be pulling the strings away from the spotlight and nothing will change, that much is a given. Its really only the method they use to f*ck you over that is different between 'parties' - the end result is still the people being screwed! When will we wake up...

  • All counts are countable, this is another seed of strangling the true voters supports, a true government require an adequate expession is considerred by a voter, if poles quit after a certain time, true advocates that acquired that exprssion are now accessable to th human rights advocation, because there expression was not adheared to because of limitations.

  • Cameron's related to the Queen. He knows all the bankers who committed the global, financial fruad personally. He is now intent on making us all pay them for doing it to us. We must now pay the cunts who robbed us in order that they can remain obscenely wealthy and YOU voted for it! Anybody in the UK earning less than £3,000 per week who voted for the Tories is a complete moron. Those earning more than that who voted for them is a greedy, selfish cunt.

  • @willwak You see the thing is I think you're a cunt for blaming the tories...

Tory economic policy is all about keeping inflation low, tax low , closing non profitable business and allowing profitable business to boom. Tory economics is how we keep the economy stable. It's how you keep you're job.

May i ask. How would you solve the economic crises?

  • @doford. The crisis should be solved by placing levies on bank profits until they have paid back all the taxpayer's money that has been given to them. I am sick of rich Tory backers whingeing about taxes and doing everything to avoid paying them, and then whingeing that taxpayers should bail them out when their enterprises fail. they can't have it both ways.

  • @heliotropezzz333 Bailing out the banks goes against tory ideals. Socialist bailed out the banks. The whole problem has been caused by building up the debt. It has nothing to do with the tories.

  • @doford they deregulated the banks in the first place

  • @doford The tories deregulated in Mrs Thatcher's time and the Labour government foolishly allowed light regulation of the banks to continue. Once the banks failed, there was no choice but to bail them out to avoid collapse of the economic system.

  • @heliotropezzz333 Grrrah. The bad debt needs to be liquidated. There is a choice. Every time people choice to buy a credit card, move their debt, move to longer payments, bail out banks, bailout nations, it will only make the choice of taking the hit that much worse.

  • @doford Well, let the banks take the hit in their profits and bonuses but in a managed way so they don't sink. That will teach them not to gamble fooloshly in future.

  • Comment removed

  • @doford Modern Shylock bankers deliberately created this global fraudulent crisis. Before it Brown had proposed an international regulatory system which would have prevented it. He got no cooperation. Toxic loans given triple 'A' ratings and sold on then bet against as a bad investment by the very people who had created them.. Brown kept inflation consisistently low.whilst house prices tripled! Just wait and see what Cameron does to fuck the recovery up big time. My god

    Tory voters are thick.

  • Nick Clegg! save us from a Conservative government! do a deal with Labour! its the only deal that makes sense!

  • Nick? You mean good old Nick from next door????/ or do you mean NIKOLAI - CZAR NIKOLAI, heir to the russian throne, illuminato, reptilian bloodline, royal blueblood cousin of the queen. Or do you mean Gordon, 33rd degree freemason? or do you vote for Dave, good old Dave from next door, the Etonian, freemason, illuminato? YOU R FREE TO CHOOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FREE TO CHOOSE YOUR EXECUTIONER!!!

  • This is why I didn't vote, it's all complete bullshit.

We lecture other counties on not executing the democratic voting process correctly, only to turn our own people away before they can vote.

Even if you did get to vote, the systems so fucked up that when every ballot has been counted, still no one knows who will govern and it'll end up being decided by the politicians themselves, not the people. How is that democratic?

  • @sbowesuk

This election is one event in a long process known as history. Perhaps .000000001% of the electorate could not vote. The idiots will seize on this as significant . Democracy now requires that party leaders talk. Only idiots can't wait for the result. It is good that idiots not VOTE

  • @ifuliki Lol what crawled up your ass and died? .000000001% is not an accurate representation of the number of people who couldn't vote, but the point is the number is besides the point. In one of the most established democracies in the world, people attempting to vote but being turned away brings the system into disrepute and goes against everything a democracy is supposed to offer.

  • @sbowesuk I think not. Because some polling official order too few ballot papers or be cause some people turned up at the poll after the announced time of closure does not bring the the entire system into disrepute. However, still using the first p ast the post system which was adequate when the Whigs and Tories were the only parties contesting the election does bring the system into disrepute.

  • @ifuliki As for the result, we pretty much have it. The outcome of that result however is where the problems lie, which is precisely why electoral reform is 1st on the agenda.

Clearly the current system is extremely flawed because the votes that were supposed to decide who governs simply haven't done so. That's unacceptable and all the party leaders agree.

P.S. - Think before you post. Filling your comment with "idiot this" and "idiot that" simply makes you sound like one.

  • @sbowesuk Yes, flawed! Another post explains why damning a whole system because some peoplewere late to the polls is not a very intelligent conclusion. After a long, long day as a poll clerk w ould you not think that it is time to count up and go home. The solution would be to keep the p oll open for 24 hours, perhaps.

  • @ifuliki The system is being damned for more than one reason. On the issue of people being turned away, it wasn't just a case of people turning up late - that would hardly be a new thing or newsworthy. The clear issue there was that proverbial supply could not match demand, thus the whole thing bottlenecked in places. That's why it was scrutinised and why it was unacceptable.

  • @sbowesuk Although it shouild have been oibvious, I have taken the time to explain why I though that particular conclusion was idiotic. A merfe difference of opinion, my friend.

  • @sbowesuk

The Liberal Democrats have long campaigned for electoral reform to make it fairer. Yes, there was a botch up in some seats and serious questions will need to be addressed about that but as far as im concerned, if you don't vote you aren't in a position to complain about any problems this country may have because you aren't willing to provide a candidate with the position to address societies problems.

  • funny how the voters turned away were all in labour areas, what are the excuses not enough ballot papers wtf conspiring tories

  • @GherkinGob Highly dense areas normally vote labour. It's law for the polling stations to close at 10pm. Perhaps it's the fault of the voters for turning up at 830pm?

I would agree the stations should stay open till the queue is gone but how is it a tory conspiracy? If it was a conspiracy would it make more sense for it to be labour as the conspirators as they were the last government...

  • @doford I tend to agree but perhaps that would depend on the length of the queue. A difficult decision I would not like to make.

  • @GherkinGob I think it was "cocl up" rather than "conspiracy, but though it is dreadful that people were truned away if they arrived before 10 p.m, I understand it is the case that if the number of people turned away exceeds the majority of the winning candidate there can be a request for a re-ballot which is likely to be allowed in those circumstances. Therefore, ultimately it would not be allowed to have affected the result.

  • @GherkinGob Maybe Labour supporters are not bright enough to know when the polls close.{Tongue in cheek}|

  • love it first they think were apathetic then when we arrive on mass all enthusiastic they tell us to fuck off british democracy at its finest

lib lab con vote for the lesser of three evils im finding it hard to see the difference

  • who cares that the british have voted the tories as the largest party? The New Labour and the Lib Dems should come together and form a government. Both parties agree on diminishing our nuclear defence at this moment in time, although the Lib Dems seem to want to eradicate it completely. Both parties are in favour of joining the Euro currency at some point too. and both are fervent support of positive discrimination against white males. it is about what is right, not about what the people want

  • @bigscolari Sorry to break this to you, but Labour plus the Lib Dems is not enough to cross the finishing line, so you can throw that notion out of the window right now :)

  • New Labour was the conservatives with a small "C" Really when did the Tories bring in the minmum wage?

  • another election will be enacted in a few months. the anglo saxon banking system will collapse. russia will step into world affairs more, aka started already pirate rescue mission. people want a russian style system away from ruling elite in wall street now in uk.

  • @sexybritgent Are you seriously trying to suggest that a ruling elite does not rule Russia? Putin is still de facto in control of Russia.

  • @7jem331 hi i agree. stock exchanges corrupt and pay off all politicians world wide. i respect a russian colonel on $10,000 dollars more than a celebrity in usa with $300 million. i want an end to material capitalism and ideology instated. russia provides best platform. this will help world peace also.

  • Corruption is endemic in the UK and its politics, without a new revolution we are done for.Welcome to the new French revolution.

  • I want a hung parialment. I want all politicians in parliament to hang.
