What a wonderful book. Dogs are such heroes. May God bless Tuesday and Luis! Thank you for sharing your story. It is beautiful, sad, amazing and encouraging! :) <3
Luis, love this!!! "Emotionally intelligent" describes Tuesday perfectly and bringing to the world how an animal can do so much to heal the soul is so profoundly needed. People with all disabilities, seen and unseen, need advocates. You needed Tuesday to bring you back out into the world. The disabled need someone with your unique background, credentials, and abilities to speak for them and further their ability to lead full and productive lives. You are once again leading an army!
My wife and I read the book and are commented to making a difference. As retired veterans, we now know what are second life will be. We will support agencies that train service dogs and we hope to learn how to train these exceptional animals. Bless you for sharing your story.
Hello Sir...First let me say thank you for your service. I like am being saved by my (2) labs. They pull me thru life everyday. I am reading your book now and have been moved to tears many times thru the chapters. I have always had a kinship with animals and I hope people read your book and understand your struggles and how mans best friend is there for you and you for him. God bless you and Tuesday.
This book means much more than a man and a service dog. This is about saving lives - both man and animal. They are both extremely intelligent and manage to help each other to live normal lives. I have always been involved with animal rescue, but this goes beyond saving animal lives - the animal this time saves a human. We can all take a page out of Tuesday's teachings. What a world it would be. I once had a friend tell me that dogs are here to teach us. Oh how true. Thanks to both of you.
Thank you Captain Luis Carlos Montalván. I too am reading your book (and crying a lot). You and Tuesday are an inspiration. I am so glad that you have each other (and that's not even the half of it).
Thank you Captain Luis Carlos Montalván. I too am reading your book (and crying a lot). You and Tuesday are an inspiration. I am so glad that you have each other (and that's not the half of it).
I just finished your book and was moved to tears. It's a truly inspirational story and one which I think the world needs to hear. Tuesday is an incredible friend and entiely gorgeous individual! I wish you both many years of joy and companionship.xx
PS: The video suggestions to the right of this page made me smile as I thought about how much Tuesday would enjoy them! ;)
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing story! People with PTSD and TBI have been treated as if they are weak or unmotivated for way too long. Your journey is bringing awareness to the fact that injuries to the brain are just as valid and impacting as those that are more obvious on the outside. That is why the Invisible Disabilities Association is here to bring hope, encouragement, education and better understanding. Thank you for everything you are doing to give others hope as well!!
I'm reading this book now... I'm only in two chapters, but I already can tell what a beautiful dog Tuesday is. There is something about golden retrievers that is so magical and inspiring. I met one who changed my life, as well, and I know I changed his, too. Much more than just a service dog!!!
This is a must read for anyone that lives with, loves, or wants to help people with PTSD. It has taught me more about PTSD and how it effects the people that live with this issue. Thank you Luis and Tuesday. Lu Picard ECAD co founder
Sir, I received your book yesterday, and it is so rich that I have a hard time setting it aside. Besides your inspirational story, it is loaded with information.
I am a retired VA nurse, and worked for close to a decade with combat veterans in Psych. Had I had your book available to me before starting that experience, I could have been so much more useful.
Thank you, God bless you, for your book, your courage, and your service to our great nation.,
I am a RN who works with TBIs and SCIs. I will tell everyone at work about your book-and of course your dog! Thank you for your service. I love my dog too...Give Tuesday a Dingo bone from me!
Thank you Luis and Tuesday for sharing this wonderful Inspirational video

Este video me levanta el alma. Los quiero mucho Luis y Tuesday. Thank you for this book. Thank you for having the courage to share your heart, your soul and your life. I wish my father was alive to see this. This will bring insight and healing to countless numbers of souls. Bendiciones, Olga Trevizo y Familia
Luis, this a a great video. It really reaches the heart. Thank you for all that you have done and are doing to better the lives of our Veterans. You are an inspiration and I cannot wait to read the book.
Wars increasing instead of coming to closure It worries me that we are all going to be facing harder times ahead..I have worked in public service. I have never been a soldier. Although I can say that the state of this nation and the world since 911 has affected me in ways I never thought possible..Every day I cling to my sanity and my hope that peace, love and understanding can be renewed to repair the damage done.. blessed to have You and Tuesday leading this charge. Oh Captain My Captain ~J~
Just finished reading the book "Until Tuesday". It's one of the best books I've read. Inspiring.
