  • he is the real dumbledore nd a wonderful personality just like dumbledore

  • He was a better Dumbledore than the current guy who plays him (forgot his name).

  • @TsunadeFTisland11 Micheal Gambon. But I agree! Richard was calm whereas Micheal wasn't :(

  • A Great icon, I would love to have met him...the tribute is spot on, he would have loved it Im sure.... RIP Mr Harris..........

  • Your the bull, your the bull, your the bull!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Richard Harris was a great actor. I saw him first in Harry Potter. And after that in Camelot.

  • DUMBLEDORE!!

  • Indeed,RIP,good man. Thank you for all that you gave us-they are some of my life's sweetest moments.

  • I played trombone in the orchestra (in Oklahoma City) on Richard's last tour as Arthur in the stage production of Camelot. It was a joy. Every time he sang this wonderful Lerner and Lowe song I felt inspired. He made the lyrics even more meaningful than they already were. He was directing the show, too. I saw him rehearse the actors once. And he was brilliant.

  • This is the worst tribute I have seen for such a talented actor- Harry Potter, Harry Potter, Harry fucking potter... I mean that is an insult to Richard Harris- maybe add clips from movies like " Man called horse" more of "The Field" etc- but Harry Potter- He'd roll in his grave!!

  • @beyondtheveil13 I agree with you. Harris put more feeling into the singing.

  • You did a great job on this, He was a wonderful actor and he really played Albus Dumbledor to perfection.

  • my idol........

  • Nobody but Sir Richard Harris should be allowed to sing MacArthur Park, anyone else is sacreligous, because he put his whole being into it and made you feel what he was feeling !!!!!! TenStarsplus !!!! RIP Sir Richard Harris !!!!!!!!!

  • somebody knows a song by richard harris probably called slides? If so please let me know. R Harris was the image of a great actor and singer that will remain allways on our mind

  • wHAT A GREAT TRIBUTE TO A WONDERFUL ACTOR AND SINGER.

  • Beautiful song. I wish it was truly that easy...

  • I love Richard Harris. Live forever Richard! What a beautiful voice too. A genius.

  • im irish and everyone said my granda was like Harris,

'oh ur granda was like richard harris, the tales he told,'

later i found out that he looked and acted like him, he was a alcholic and a creative story teller.

Im the same, but alas not as good.

  • such a shame he died an amazing actor.

  • great tribute. thanks a lot.

rest in peace, Sir Richard Harris.

  • So happy to be able to say he was Irish like me. He lived an authentic life.

  • i loved him in harrypotter :)

  • im 20 years old and ever since i saw him in the Count of Monte Cristo as the priest i was hooked.... i loved his acting and him, his look, his attitude, he was what i like to call a "bad boy" because u could look at him and kno tht he didnt give shit about what people thought and i believe thts a good thing, if u wanna get things done, he'd do it, he had bundles of confidence and he was very talented AND he came from Ireland, im half Irish myself and his name makes me proud to say im half Irish

  • thank you so much. i was born in 69 and always held him up as the quintecential man. this video was a fitting tribute to the man i always saw as king arthur.thx.

  • Extraordinary! I miss you Sir Richard. What a man, what a talent, what a character!! - My first LOVE - Camelot, MacArthur Park - all the Jimmy Webb songs, all the Merv Griffin shows (with Malachy) - all of the movies you should have, but didn't, get an Academy Award - may you RIP - I still cannot believe you're gone.

  • R.I.P. Sir Richard and thank you

  • The great Richard Harris. A true One of a Kind!

  • aw richard was the most amazing dumbledore :(

such a shame about his replacement..

  • large footsteps to follow.

  • Great man!!!!R.I.P.

  • I loved this. Truly brilliant.

    RIP Richard.

  • Did you ever hear Peter O'Toole talk about the drinking benders that he and Richard Harris would endure? Very funny stuff.

  • He was a great actor who lived life to the full!! Sad he has left us, so much talent, what a legend!!

  • He sure stole the show from heston in Major Dundee.

  • He was an amazing actor and singer....I loved all his movies...and "MacArthur Park" is one of my favorite songs....so haunting, yet soothing.

  • A fine actor and a fine Irishman! Is cuma le fear na mbróg cá leagann sé a chos!

  • Rush Limbaugh did a great parody of this song on his show (June 6, 2008), with Obama and Clinton as the "stars." Classic!

  • Beautiful... Richard Harris is a great actor, we will always remember you

  • couldnt agree more - great tribute!

  • Yes, and the song is very nice aswell...it's the right type of one for Richard Harris

  • Met him, and he was the loveliest man, leaving a gap never to be filled

  • Wonderful! Bravo! TY.

  • A wonderful light went out when Richard Harris died. Thank you for the tribute, it was lovely.

  • We knew him as Dickie Harris in the early 50's as he made his presence known at the Limerick dances, he was always on-stage. The girls would say "look at Dickie Harris showing off". In 1967 my husband surprised me with 2 tickets to Camelot's opening (sold out) in New York and I just loved it, the audience stood up and clapped at the end of the movie. I thought he should have received 'best actor' for Fields. Very nice tribute.

  • Very nice tribute to one of the greatest actors of all time.

Pity, You have not used Harris' own version of this lovely song - He did it much better than Burton.

A small mistake on the way: "Camelot" with Richar Harris and Vanessa Redgave is from 1967, not '82 ;-)

  • Wow....what a beautiful tribute to such a great actor and singer of our time...This montage touched me very deeply...God Bless you for this effort.

  • Excellent ! THANK YOU , beautiful. May the works of S.R.H. continue to fill , repair and invigorate hearts as they have mine .

  • Very nice "Richard Harris Memorial"

    thanks beyondtheveil13

If you love Richard Harris you must

see the movie "Wrestling Ernest Hemingway"

Its only available on VHS video

Its one of my all time favorite movies.

  • A rare and remarkable talent.

    Rest In Peace Sir Richard

  • great song. claps claps

  • He was great, and I miss his talents as an actor and singer. I have several of his music albums that he put out over the years.

  • Loved the tribute, I got to meet him once and got a kiss along with an autograph. He was great. However, it would have been nicer with him singing something from Camelot. The Richard Burton singing kind of detracted from it. MAA

  • I will always love this actor and will miss him for the rest of my life.

    Rest In Piece Richard Harris.

  • Great tribute to one of the world's finests performers, not only he played many demanding roles but sang one of the greatests songs ever: Mac Arthur Park.

  • Read you tit

  • i believe you've got the wrong version of 'how to handle a woman' here. sounds remarkably like richard burton. harris' version doesn't sound like this.

  • I think he was an amazing actor as well..thank you for the video

  • a great actor.rip!

  • Legend .. world's poorer for his passing

  • Quietly put, a class act...Poetry rekindled in the gentlest Irish way. The fire within the eyes of the spirit of a dear person who had much to offer and left us with a smile and a tear.

  • His voice would be so relaxing when I would be troubled or in a sad mood. I will deeply miss his presents, but I have his films and music to treasure for the rest of my life.

  • That was Simply Beautiful.

    Thank You for sharing.

  • A brilliant actor and great singer, He sang a great song called "McArthur Park" and his performance as "Bull McCabe" in Jim Sheridan's Irish-made film "The Field" was outstanding.

    R.I.P. Richard Harris.

    Many Thanks for Posting, Cheers!

    Patrick, Fintona, Ireland.
