I love this car. Though honestly pontiac lost their way with the GP because of the Soltice. It wasnt till the G8 came out that they had a true high performance sedan.

And the Impala is the GP's corporate cousin, the GP is more track oriented with the drilled brakes, upgraded suspension, and staggered wheels.

And I love the G8, my stepdad owns one.

There is a difference between th gp and g8 other than styling. The g8 has an entirely new powertrain plus all models are rear wheel drive

The G8 IS the Grand Prix, just with a new exterior design based on the Grand Prix and New name. Instead of maketing it as the G8(Which costs money with Commercials and promotion) they should have made it a new Grand Prix Generation.

They killed GP in place of a lame Aussie import G8(Though I am the only one who hates G8). GM screwed Pontiac and killing it next year if you didn't know. After 2010, no more red-lit gauges, no-more red arrow head. F***ing losers GM. No wonder they are bankrupt.

No. they are or have stopped making Pontiac this year. They stopped making Grand Prix last year. I got me a 1999 Prix and love it. But I so wanted the 06 v8 badly :)
