  • for the hijackthis, i hit fix check, after a while of loading, all the checked programs reappeared on the list again. so they never got deleted.

  • dude can you help me with the hijack this link, i cant find it. thanks

  • you say avast is the best, but ive heard AVG is better, what do you think?

  • I have a PC Recommendation for you sir:

Stick with what you know (Gaming)

You are by no means a computer nerd

Your Class C needs to be custom for security reasons. Try using a DOD internal IP for a local IP with a firewall then router. Just a thought. Hooked to explorer.exe then wrapped to 192.168.1.1 using dns 4.2.2.1

  • He Sounds Like Necro Lol

  • Dude what software do you use to record screen capture for these vids, from your PC?

  • Am I going to have to torrent the full version of avast? I downloaded the free version, installed it and then restarted my laptop. And it just says it is a 60 day trial.

  • go to avast's website and under the support link you'll see 'free avast home registration'.

click on that and put in a legit email address and they will email you an activation code good for one year. you can do this for up to 2 years.

avast home edition is free once registered.

  • hey torque can you help me out. when i was in hijack this, and i clicked fix checked items or whatever, after everything was done and I scanned again, the things that I checked were still there... Any ideas on how to fix that or why they are still there?

  • depends on what you checked that didn't go away when you re-scanned. were they services, as I stated in the video you cannot remove services with HJT.

  • nah what I had to do was run the program as administrator and it works fine. no I have to go do this tune up on my moms computer so that will take me forever. I tried downloading the hijack program and it said estimated time of 7 hours. 1 hour later and it only has less than a MB downloaded. wow and since it is vista, I can't use that optimize XP program...

  • thanks a ton again torque. I just installed avast, and am waiting for my registration key.

  • thank for the info .. i had avast but the other program is new to me soo thnx

  • nah, I'll probably make that in part 3. part 2 will be uploaded tomorrow. it's going in depth in tuning up pc's a lot more than part 1.
