Hmmmmm...this was right when her voice started 'going'...when she started using her 'chest voice' much much more,as her 'head voice' (the upper register) had started to be problematic for her to use in the manner she did throughout her early years!!Also,there's that kinda 'dry strain as well,when you try and force your voice..all of which are directly associated with smoking (and ahm not even gonna go into that whole subject,as ah believe thass her own private bizniz)!!Still fab,but not her best

Very Nice Pictures - Whitney is BEYOND BEAUTIFUL, but this was in 1991/Barcelona - It was part of her European Touring of the "Im Your Baby Tonight" tour. Whitney's voice went deeper around late 1989-1990, the time she started dating Bobby! -.- It's VERY sad!

I recognise the synths in this - this was Whitneys Barcelona performance - the one she had one of her first sore throats!!!

I think the first instances of drugs go back to around this time. this is one of the few early appearances which her voice is much thicker, depper and richer but DID go back to her higher sounding tone (this is a couple of years before the bodyguard and round about the time whitney was touring and found out she had miscarried.) (around 1989)
