the forge space is basically a spacer with wholes to let the extra boost out..i dont really know the exact details of how a BOV works, but you would get a better sound out of it. but i have a 06 gti and idk any other way to get a "BOV" sound other then that forge spacer.

Just spacer, no bov, spacer makes same sound as bov, but i still have stock diverter valve, its forge spacer, and magnaflow exhaust, with resonator delete.
I just installed the same exhaust on my 2008 GTI. I like the sound of it, it's unlike those Honda guys out there. Their cars sound like a lawnmower on steriods.

BOVs do absolutely nothing unless your running high hp and extremely high boost with your turbo. well...except for make stupid sounds. in fact they can actually screw up the amount of fuel pumped into the engine since that air being released has already been accounted for by the oxygen sensor and now is being let go. basically ur engine will bog at low rpm's and gas mileage will go down.
You are an IDIOT. The oxygen sensor does not meter the incoming air charge. That's the MAF's job. An oxygen sensor measures unburned fuel in the exhaust system. Compensating for the air fuel ratio. A BOV prevents compressor surge prolonging turbo life.
BOV will prolong turbo life on high boost vehicles. these cars dont seem to be running to high of boost. fine MAF. still acounts for air from the recirc. if theres no recirc from the bypass valve you will be running rich. with a tune it would work fine, i just dont see the point until you are up over 20 lbs of boost. yes i know the o2 just measures a difference in oxygen in the atmosphere and oxygen in the engine/exhaust. my bad.
Its custom catback around $250, the shop Took out suitcase muffler and resonator, put one high flow muffler in place of the stock resonator. It was magnaflow muffler, w/ 2.5" piping.
The title says custom, but the description says magnaflow cat back. Is this custom or off the shelf?

@tallprince808 a cold air intake will give you that "whoosh" sound w/ performance gain and without the negative long term effects.

They have small k03s turbos, but can be swapped to k04, k03 max 300bhp on that engine and k04 up to 350bhp.

You can put Forge spacer, doesnt do anything but just adds bov sound.
