Slaughtering a Pig in the Philippines for a Celebration

Do they ever pet the animals before hurting them severely? They could have a room where the animals are petted nicely maybe...Then after the severe hurting maybe they could pet them again, but maybe just pet around where the blood might be...or they could put a tube in there to take away the blood during the severe hurting. Then they could even pet them longer, or maybe pet them even where some of the red blood may be.

Of course it's a celebration to those that have seen lean times and hunger this is a time to rejoice. By the way, a pig will eat it's own newborn, if it is hungry enough and there is no other food around. So don't feel too sorry for the pig, it was fed well, right up to its maturity, consider its fate payback for being so well cared for, as everything has its price, and all must pay it sooner or later, even a pig.

I think this is a very nice slaughtering. A bit sad that it was alive but you know that's life. So yes, very nice I also praye for the pig that it meade it to heaven alright. And hopefully your celebration went well and that was good meat.
