  • poor kid, he look like being rape!!

  • nice....!!!!

  • He demonstrated the locks in silat

  • very nice

  • of coz no sound, its crazy pain and that guy keep screaming i think.LOL

  • 1001 ways to kill the unlucky guy :(

  • this isn't Silat..It's shoot flow 1&3 from Yori Nakamura's Shooto, and the kunsi series 1&2 from the Inosanto Method.

  • @thunder98146 Well you are wrong! By the way any martial artist worth his salt knows that nearly all martial arts have many techniques in common because martial arts is a set of principles & methods applied scientifically to break or heal the human body period! Styles are nothing more than different approaches in applying the same science so while your intent was to look knowledgeable about martial science to those in the know you sound foolish!

  • lol thats not silat

  • wow..now that is skills/

  • He is King!!

  • It looks like he's molesting him.

  • I like this flow....

  • really amazing!! are those moves can be applied in mma?

  • @tatatz011 Most of them can and are applied in MMA except the ones in which he manipulates the wrist to complete a lock. Small joints such as the toes, fingers, and the wrist are not allowed in current MMA rules.

  • Great! But this is the Lock Flow Drill of Yori Nakamura's Shooto it has nothing to do with Silat...sorry mate

  • he was playing the bongo's on you! (you know that annoying tapping sound) Nice locks

  • auch, bone breaker!

  • auch,

  • That's a catch-as-catch-can's or shooto's flow.

  • (the beginning section, on the ground, that is)

  • Terrific flow inspires me train harder with my joint locking.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • awesome lock flow!

  • nice

  • He could always just bite you

  • @Bang4aBuck You got a point there.

  • i figured out the move at 1:40 by myself and i thought i had made it up :( lol

  • I like the lock flow...you are skilled. I used to practice Sambo and BJ and Shooto. I was making reference to the ground work....nice vid. thanks for posting

  • Where is the Silat

  • Nicely done. Some locks I havn´t seen befor.

  • nice

  • repeatedly teabagged...

very smooth sequence, though. nicely done

  • that guy need to be paid 50bucks for that feature.

  • Very nice!

  • Very cool.

  • I'd hate to be this guys training partner. Poor guy.

  • @master hatfiled- my pleasure for the respectful exchange, i agree that theirs only so many ways to do things and we find so many things are common, i just felt it takes away from the genius of satora sayama in creating the shooto combos not to include him or his art in the title.Peace.

  • @shifudan my freeling my friend is that is a small little tiny I mean little bit of stuff. There is lifes times of learning.

  • @taptap- i teach shooto and suwanda silat, i see what your saying, the silat we do with grappling is not secret but rare styles such as rikesan and ulin baduey etc, we teach it openly its just rather rare,

  • @master hatfield, im not insulting anyone, and yes their is some silat mixed in,(my error) i watched the whole thing this time, but the whole beginning is japanese shooto move for move as taught in our curriculum which comes from satora sayama to yori nakamura, etc etc. I also teach silat and see some things etc, but to not mention the whole base of the flow is from shooto is misleading.as mentioned, no disrespect intended

  • @shifudan my no issue at all Im just letting you know funny at times. I came to this understanding over years and years of doing moves 1000's or 100000"s of time each like when Med some stuff just comes to ya, I am not sure why but like hidden truths and I work on it for years and then find it in someone elses teaching. That is what I find I was just passing on my understanding. Btw thank you for you very respectfull ways *bow*

  • yeah, he take from yori but several parts change to the silat techniques. however, many type of silats is like shooto with deal with many joint lock from standing, lower and grounding. but still have a quite lot of different compared to shooto. so, the master here mix together. thank u for your info shifudan. try look harimau lock up variation from guru bobbe edmond to share the other lock flow.

  • this is not silat at all, this is shooto combination number 1 move for move. look up yori nakamura and see exact same thing move for move

  • @shifudan I dont really thing you should say that, I am Hapkido person and I teach everything I seen here, and first the time I had seen this is when my friend showed me this. The point is every true move or position is same just from other angles. There is only so much or many things you can do.

  • just for sharing information. try type silat pakiah rabun bukit tinggi on you tube. the master shown u the amazing takedown techniques. before im forget, the techniques to escape from armbar that teach by herman suwanda in herman suwanda seminar video on you tube if im not mistaken is in part 3 or part 4. it might be part 3 i think.

sorry bad english. just to sharing some information.

  • one of common movement in silat wrestling n grappling is use leg as hook which im not see or u cant find in other wrestling n grappling style. im mean the upside of the footprint use as hook. u can find this at pak haji syofian styles, silat harimau, herman n bambang suwanda, sumatran silat styles etc. uwhen u type herman suwanda or bamabang suwanda on you tube y can find many secret techniques especially wrestling n grappling techniques that u cant find in other disciplines are revealed.

  • for your information silat kitari in sumatera is one of oldest/ancient type of silat. actually, most of the traditional/ancient types of silat have movement look like that including old silat in nothern malaysia n southern thailand. thats why most of their movement/kata is very flowery thats imagine u catch n grabbing the oppenent wrist hand.

  • u also can find how late master herman suwanda teaching completely how to escaping from armbar in herman suwanda seminar 1996 on you tube which brazillian jiujitsu and even japanese jiujitsu not have the techniques to escape from armbar. besides that, how to escape from armbar also teach by master bambang suwanda in benjang silat video on you tube. when you wathcing kitari silat grabbing on you tube. their technique is more emphasize on technique to catch the ooponent wrist n hand.

  • you also can type benjang an rikesan, herman suwanda seminar 1996, herman suwanda, bambang suwanda, benjang and rikesan, silat harimau, pak haji syofian nadar, silat kitari, silat jatuh, etc to find the variations in silat grapplimng n wrestling.

  • hey did you know some or much of silat is too much wrestling n grappling techniques? moreover some of the silats is very wrestling n grappling oriented. besides that u need to know the various ethnics in malay islands have too much type of traditional wrestlings n grappling such as bahempas, gedou, benjang, dumog, silat jatuh, gulat, etc. much of their technics are too complicated n not have in other disciplines which are not reveal yet. for example try type benjang silat on you tube.

  • He's like "Dude, I tap already!"

  • This isn't silat, this is catch wrestling. This is a typical catch lockflow found in japanese catch and shooto. Nice lockflow though. The standing one is more silat.
