Sadly so. It's a product of the way congressional districts are organized. But after Bush, I'm not really hopeful that the GOP is going to be any better this time around. Clinton expanded the powers of federal government and proved himself to be a shill for the corporations. I supported Bush initially in the hopes that he would turn that around, but he disappointed. Then I decided to give Obama a chance, he disappointed also. To be honest, I'm not very optimistic at this stage.
