All Skyline's since R32, are AWD. GTS-T, GT-R, they are all AWD and equipped with ATESSA-ETS and HICAS.

The only differences are the engine specifications and the engines themselves:

Where GTS-t's had a 2.0 litre single turbo straight 6 engine, the GT-R's had a twin turbo 2.6 litre straight six, producing a lot mroe torque than the GTS-t.

The GXi is the only one with a 1.8 litre straight 4 engine out of all Skyline's.

The best way to learn to drift is in first gear before you touch any other gears, even if its not good for the car. If you ever go to drifting school, they wont let you touch any gear until you can drift in first, also if you watch Tanner Foust the professional D1 drifter or any Japanese drifters give out lessons they get people to start out in first gear until they get comfortable doing it.
